  1. Releasing my Esplin trad to the Bellessaria clique in 3...2...1
  2. It was pretty obvious with the laughing smiley and all. I suspect that somebody lacks a sense of humor.
  3. Ummmm... What? You read all of that into what I joked about? I honestly don't think anybody commits suicide over gaudy holiday decor in Second Life. This is the wackiest knee-jerk reaction I've ever seen in my entire 20 years on the internet. Have a cookie and chill. I'm an Atheist, btw... so you can miss me with that "religious intolerance" stuff, mmmkay? IF you did a small bit of research, you would find that Yule (as it was originally called) is a pagan holiday that was appropriated by christians. Either way, it's not a religious thing for me. I simply enjoy the aesthetics. Have a nice day.
  4. This extreme dislike of ban lines & "aggressive" security orbs has a bit of a socialist flavor to it, IMHO. Who are these people that are flying all over the place instead of just directly TPing to a particular destination? Oh wait, I believe I had a rather unpleasant interaction with one of those individuals, a couple of years ago. A random "traveler" told me I should turn off my security orb because it had "interrupted" his flight. He then went on to elaborate on why EVERYONE should have public access to the piece of land that I paid for. I think he even went so far as to suggest that, if I didn't care for intruders, I should just GTFO of SL. This particular piece of mainland was out in the middle of nowhere, with large chunks of abandoned land surrounding it, mind you. So, after he finished his little anti-private property speech, I told him to kiss the inside of my #@%hole, and sent him home with a swift click. Most satisfying. My home is your home? Nah. 'Tis a shame I can't use stricter settings on my orb in Bellisseria. That's the one thing I don't like.
  5. I was fixing to put some up myself, before I read the rules. If I were you, I'd just keep them up and not worry. The chances of being reported are slim. There's always that one person though, that Scrooge who doesn't get laid often enough, and they love to tattle about such things. Put a large snowman out in front, holding a sign that reads "Snitches get stitches". 🤣 See how that works.
  6. Call me crazy, but I would love to live next-door to somebody like that. For the record, I had the most heavily decorated house on my block, during the Halloween season. A crypt with lightening flashes & bats, a cemetery, lots of fog, sound effects, a skeleton candy dispenser, and a ghoul that sprayed vomit when you walk past it. It was awesome. Gaudy holiday decor is so much fun. 🤩
  7. This is the yacht I am being tempted by: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/GD-MOTORS-Yacht-Princess-I/17657006
  8. Oh, there is a rez zone for boats. There's a dock that goes out into the water a bit, and the rez zone is right next to it. It's very nice.
  9. Seems like a waste of money, tbh. But then, what do I know? I'm a shopping addict trying very hard to resist the urge to purchase a yacht. My trad house is a block away from the lake. 😜
  10. Wow, are you guys actually creating multiple premium accounts so you can get these houses? Lmao! That's insane. 😂
  11. http://status.secondlifegrid.net/ Yep. its SL. Figures. They are always messing with something.
  12. I'm having the same problem, although I've been having general connection issues all week, due to my suck-a$$ ISP, whom I believe are secretly throttling my service. And THAT is what I pay $70 a month for! HOooRaaay! But yes, I can't log on at all either, and I think this may be a SL issue.

  14. Like the title says...there are restriction icons displayed in the location bar for my home. Is this normal?
