  1. I don' t know if the OP already purchased this machine or not. There are plenty of netbooks / laptops which will not run SL at all with intergrated graphics, but that' s probably not the case with this machine. I think you are absolutely right about the risk-assesment.
  2. Hmm.. integrated graphics appears to be a Radeon HD 3100. I think it will work. Don' t expect a superfast or smooth SL experience with this machine, but you should to able to at least use any viewer of choice.

  4. No, rly. /me' s lips tremble lightly. Sok. *whimper* ..... :robotsad:
  5. Syo Emerald wrote: Also the only mesh furryavatar I saw so far was ugly as hell, I wouldn't even use it if it was for free. So I' m fugly to you. Sok.
  6. Considering they also come in a female version and in all sorts of colours, whilst i' m wearing extra mesh cargo-pants and the shirt i' m wearing is not from Blue Galaxy, it' s all the more likely yours looked very different than mine. I' m also not wearing the hair that comes with it. I did not buy it inside the shop, but in the open where you arrive when teleporting.
  7. Pamela Galli wrote: Do you use mesh things? If so, worn or rezzed items? Yes. Wearing mesh avatar, shirt and pants. Hat and tie are prim-based. And I' m rather happy with it, as you can see.
  8. Rene Erlanger wrote: The concurrency hasn't dropped off that much in the last 2 years....look at the 3rd graph. I dunno ... I see a drop there in the long run of about 20% (rough estimate). You have a statistic too about in-world traffic / sales like that ?
  9. Rodvik Linden : " The whole MUSH scene I think is something we can learn from." Afaik I think he' s referring to Multi User Dungeons ( networked textbased roleplaying adventures) here . Not sure if that' s actually a fact you wanted.
  10. Voodoo Schnyder wrote: Kind of like Unreal Tournament and Counter Strike, Call of Duty, etc, but in Second Life! I'm willing to put some L into this project and take it forward and would like to know, if this would interest you at all? Grid design renders this request of yours impossible. I' m not sure it could not be done, but some pretty basic stuff about SL would have to change drastically. We' re even talking changing server-code here is my guess, perhaps specifically to the rendering and / or physics engine. With current affairs this is never happening. I would love to watch it happen though. I even think Rodvik Linden should take your post into consideration.
  11. /me tosses Yohan a banana. There you go. You deserved it. :robotwink:
  12. So you' re an arrogant lazy monkey pretending to have better output than others by drumming it' s keyboard differently. Still a monkey like they all are, ' brains' .. :robottongue:
  13. To the question/title of your post : no. To c# and a virtual environment as to tutoring : I' d suggest you take Opensim into consideration. You can even experiment there with a c#-compiler built into the viewer / server, if I' m correct. You' ll have better chances there of finding a suitable tutor according to the subject you' re interested in there, imho & afaik. Good luck with your chosen road into programming.
  14. If you want to capture ingame, give glc a try.
  15. You could try this one : http://imprudence.googlecode.com/files/Imprudence-1.4.0-Experimental-2010.10.23-Mac-Intel.dmg Your Mac requires an Intel CPU for this one to work, afaik.

  19. Bon. C'est fait. A votre service.
  20. Keli Kyrie wrote: I am in no way the cure. I just put out the olive branch it is up to all of us to work this out. I do understand and I respect your effort, but only wanted to point out not to expect the impossible to happen, to avoid disappointment for everybody. If people rather stay away to avoid any trouble at all, it should be their right of choice, I find. Peace.
  21. Keli Kyrie wrote: See that is the thing .... don't let is get your dandruff up. Oh .. you consider the 'thing(s)' mere dandruff ? Dandruff doesn't need to 'heal'. I was almost under the impression you had a cure for necrosis there, Dr. Kyrie. My bad.
  22. Keli Kyrie wrote: For one day a year we put aside out differences and grudges and come together to enjoy each others company. Peace, Keli No. Let those who will enjoy HS2 enjoy it. Let those who will not, not destroy it (no matter how hard they might try). Let it be. Peace to you too.
  23. I think it's ok for them to do so as long as they conform to ToS. Some places in SL have 'No bite requests' warning signs, but that does not disallow recruiting. I also think to have understood ( as Innula stated ) that directly recruiting unwary noobs is frowned upon by their own community. I don't know wether they suffer consequences for it when they do recruit persons that did not want to be bothered with it.
