When using the Second Life search in my external browsers (both Firefox and Chrome), everything works fine until I click on the "View full group/person profile in Second Life." Rather than opening in my already-running viewer, it attempts to launch another copy of SL, giving me an error that says, "Second Life is already running." I tried changing my settings to allow multiple copies of SL to open. The problem is it still launches a new window, prompts me to log in, and then still doesn't show the page I was trying to access in-world. This does not happen for locations; they open fine. I've tested the links on the page http://secondlife.com/app/search/slurls.html and come to the conclusion that any of the ones with three slashes open incorrectly this way. I'm not sure if it's a browser setting or an SL setting, but nothing I've tried so far has fixed it. My next solution would be to use my internal browser in the first place, but for some reason it also seems broken, so that's not going to work either.
