I want to know if there are any laptops or computers in SL that can surf the web.

I was wondering if there are any laptops or desktops in sl that have viewers built in.

From what I can gather, there used to be some holes used to enable youtube videos to be streamed in SL... No where do I see it says they are not allowed, but if it can be done, why would SL patch these holes? Why would they make it impossible to do?

My friend needs a vendor script for her store bcause she only has a 50 prim allocation. A link where I could copy and paste would be great, but the market is OK too. Also, I had a site where I could enter keywords into the search bar and it would come up with scripts from multiple sites, I forgot what site that was and would appreciate a link there too.

I am trying to make a in game viewer setup and want to includes some music video and nature channels (Movies too maybe) but can't find any sites that autoplay the media and don't block it with pop ups initially. I know that I need either MOV or MP4 formats for the videos to play... IDK, links please, any and all, I can't find zilch.

Way back when I made a prim display a website, play the music from it, and it specifically showed the artist and song playing at any time. I can't remember how I did this and was wondering if there is a script out there that would help with this... Also, a script that gives a radio station menue that is reprogramable would be nice.

I found a script/texture combination that makes metal objects look like they are reflecting light. I've used this on a katana blade and it looks amazing. What are some highly practical items I could try this new technique on?

Maybe, that depends on what kind of stuff you make, and how much time you demand. I make a variety of stuff, but seem to lean towards traditional Japanese (Edo Period) creations

I have a Trolling device, a gun that shoots out giant, reproducing prims... Is there a place I can play with this and not get banned? This gun is gonna be used, with or without a reply, so huurry up If I REALLY wanted to I could use it without being caught, have no doubt about that.

I dissagree with the highly sceptical user. I think the key is to serve also as a product bank, tking full ownership of all items and running the business of thier sale and distribution. Any product endorsed by you would prety much have a waranty and guaranteed support, wheras all the others wouldn't. If creators that went through you didn't have to provide technical support to every customer, they would save immesurable timme, and the bonus in sales and a minimal service fee would be far outwieghed by this. You'd have a designated alt do all the market place postings so that people would know who was legit. The only issue with this idea is that you'd actuall need 2 competing bureaus to help drive down prices and prevent corruption within. To sum it up, money is power in SL, both possession of it, and controll of it. As long as it's run like a business, it could succeed

I beg to differ, a computer can play this game you speak of, it's called a virus/worm. The rules haven't been worked out you say, but they have, the only rule is baby making.

I see all these programs, from high teck, to drawing lines in dirt techniques. I need a good program. I tried DAZ 3D and it just seems like scamy software to me. Oh, I'd also like to say that I feel Blender is the worst program ever made, like making a car without a steering wheel. Please, some lesser know programs perhaps?

I tried to clear my cache on restart, and the viewer would try to do it every time I tried to start the viewer, even after a reinstall, I had to get a different version to log in.

I think I have a full perm heli (have to double check editing), and saw a script I could add to make it DCS compatible earlier today/ As for the desintigration, you'll have to get that help elsewhere, but you'll have a full perm heli and half the job done.
