I also can not log in and keep getting the 'Login failed, unable to connect to simulator' ... Message, I was not wearing a group tag with silly symbols in it, in fact a normal popular group tag. I did try to connect to a different region, rebooted my computer no luck. I can log in with other characters so it can not be my connection.
