  1. Flea, I know you just want to help, thank you, I'll try your suggestion to rename and reupload them tomorrow, hopefully it will work for me... Toysoldier, I totally agree with you that Magic Box should not be burned or vilified, in my heart I feel thankful for old magic boxes, though they're not 100% perfect, they made great contribution to SL economy, and it also worked well for me. It's a special oppotunity here to be shared all kinds of personal experiences in this thread during DD disaster. Each merchant has his/her very special own story. Being a SL merchant is certainly not easy.

  4. In fact I just created another new JIRA and complained a lot... and will continue to do things like this repeatedly in any possible areas on the internet in every possible language...if I could. Those deliveries are just as what I've mentioned in the threads and JIRA...they're received inwolrd but my report says they are still delivered. If I never bought from myself, I would never know the the fact.

I really want to agree with CTL too, but...even the worst abnormal Magic Box experiences I've ever heard from anyone wouldn't be worse than the daily normal behavior of Direct Delivery in my sotre since its launch. So far, I don't get even one success transition from DD system. All fail. All...I mean... all... Every single direct delivery payment is a fail...since I used DD... I never heard about anyone couldn't got at least one success Magic Box delivery in the past. If DD works well for you, I'm just happy for you. I wish I have such luck.
  6. Mickey, all of them--payments and delivery (on transition history) It's good here to listen to you clarifying your experience, I surely have no doubt about your issue, however, what I doubt is that these 2 cases can't just be merged altogether. Because it will blur both facts.

  9. Commerce Team Linden, Really? but why when switching back to magic box, the problem could just be gone. Shouldn't I be convinced by facts? Besides, when "that" Jira Ticket being created, I still used magic box, and "that" problem never hapened to me when I used magic box. "This" disaster only occurs when I use DD. Furthermore, my case is not just "oders stuck", this is money disappearing or stolen. Because I happened to be not only the merchant but also the customer, and I was charged but the money was purely gone. Issue 4441 is different because of reasons below: (1) that merchant wasn't sure if his/her customer received the item (but in my case, this is the point) (2) that merchant didn't know if the customer was charged or not (but in my case, this is the point) (3) that merchat didn't use DD (but in my case, this is the point) (4) that merchant waited only 4 hours, but I've been waiting fot 6 days (still waiting) (5) that merchant only had 2 orders, that could be a temporary accident (not my case) (6) that merchant delivered items manually and wanted to be paid directly by LL (did I???????) Did you really read both ISSUEs??
  10. I'm so dissapointed the first thing Lindens did to respond my issue was to close/merge JIRA and ignore the problem. Well...anyone here interested in organizing a SL Merchant Union?? Sometimes we do need a better platform to concentrate our voices to get problems resolved or get things done. This existing forum can deal with daily discussions, and another platform like a fb page can deal with votes and bring merchants together for handling more important issues. Such a labour union will be a good tool to urge LL bringing better environment and policy for SL merchants and SL itself. Just still a immature idea...how do you guys think about this?

Paul, I agree with what you said: " I personally dont think this is an issue of how a merchant did the changeover but more a pot luck of when they did the changeover at any given moment during the day and what code was doing or being played with at that time by LL." Guess what, yesterday i used my alter to create a marketplace store and just sold and bought the same item in that store, but the outcome was totally different, the purchase was just successfully "delivered"...:matte-motes-impatient: It's really really weird...

Though disappointed with the system for now...through our cooperation, I believe we'll find the solution! My original JIRA 4559 has now been closed and merged to JIRA 4441 by Dakota Linden, these 2 issues are not sll the same... but let's whatch what will happen... So far the problem remains unsolved...
  13. Josh, you're right, Magic Box is comparatively reliable and steady for me, maybe I should just put all my stuff back into Magic Box... at least Magic Box doesn't rob my store... 6 days...144 hours for "being delivered" and "being unpaid"... I couldn't stop wondering if my store be cursed???
  14. OMG... It sounds awful!!:matte-motes-crying: In my case, I'm sure the item was indeed delivered to the customer, and the customer was also charged, because I myself was that customer! I was charged by marketplace when I purchased my own products in order to test DD, the payments neither be refunded to me (customer) nor be received by myself (merchant). The money was just gone to nowhere.
  15. Darrius, yes, I unpacked my items and they are delivered as folders. When I received the folder inworld myself, everything was in the folder. Further infomations--all my products are unrigged mesh, and I also use a second folder. I don't mind you asking, of course, I don't even really mind the small loss of my money, what I want most is ths problem can be completely solved and I can rely on the report and system again. Although experiencing this problem, I think Direct Delivery is a right direction in the long term, ideally it should help to reduce customer's risk and make marketplace a more efficient tool.

Merchants, don't hurry to update to Direct Delivery on the Second Life Marketplace, because there might probably be a Delivery Disaster waiting for you, just like what I've been experiencing--since I finished migration to the new system, I never receive payments from any sales, but the customers still being charged by their purchases. Direct delivery works, but the payment system turns to be a disaster, because even though customers receive items, the transaction history doesn't update, merchants won't get payments.   17. The truth is merchants don't get paid, but customers still get charged by the marketplace...that's what I've experienced on 3/21, 3/22, 3/23, 3/24... In my case, I was done migrating all my products on 3/21, and every DD test delivery was successful too, but since then I never get payments from any of my sales...because DD purchases seem to be stuck on "undelivered" in transition history forever... Even when I tried to buy something in my own store and already got the item inworld, the transition history stays showing undelivered. Even though I was charged by the marketplace as a customer to myself, the payment never be received back to my store. Neither can I get any payments from other customer's purchases.   21. Thank you Arwen, my transiton history is just the same as you said, showing "being delivered". During the past 3 days, I have tried to buy some non-free itmes in my own store and have already been charged by marketplace, but the payment never got received by my store. Neither can I get any payments from other customer's purchases. It seems to be a big problem.
  22. Even when I tried to buy something in my own store and indeed get the item inworld, the transition history kept showing it's not delivered..... Even that I've been charged by the marketplace as a customer, I can't get my payment back as a merchant.   23. The test delivery is always ok, but the real delivery never be successful. All purchases in my store from the launch day till now (during 3/21-3/24) have just been undelivered... Undelivery means no payments.
