I fixed this problem since it seemed to be connection based and i'm not allowed to touch the router in the house I live in because it's not mine I decided to try a VPN and that actually worked perfectly, no more crashing in second life and it's only 10 bucks a month... just a bandaid I know but it's totally working now and I cannot be happier thanks for attempting to help me whirly, I appreciate it!

could a vpn help me with this issue? i don't want to give up on second life forever and i'm so lost... i have a gigabit connection i don't know what to doooo

i have done so much connection testing! no packet loss reported at all in most of my rests and my connection health is great which is why i'm so confused because I know this can normally be traced back to a isp issue but i had the technician come today and everything is working perfectly, just tried logging into an alt and the same thing happend... basically my avatar stops being able to move at all and shortly after i get disconnected... I KNOW THAT SOUNDS LIKE A CONNECTION ISSUE LOL and then i left it alone for a second and she was able to walk again... it's so weird i just can't get my computer to show any packet loss or any sign of where the issue is happening (Viewers I tried... Firestorm, Black Dragon, Second LIfe Main Viewer, Catzip)
