I use imprudence....and have been using Imprudence for pretty long now... But once after mesh came into existence it gets kinda bugging to see people around wearing donuts and eggs! So i tried other viewers like singularity, phoenix and firestorm and none of them worked! But im sure that my system meets all the minimum requirements, if not Imprudence wouldnt have worked, or is it that mesh viewers has more of other requirements? How much of Ping is necessary to run Secondliffe? In my previous threads I had explained about me not able to log in. My ping shows 85- 95 ms...when i tested with speedtest. Is that ok? or the connection sucks and I have to get a new connection? (edited) - I have Windows 7, got it formatted about 2 months back. So you say 1 GB RAM is gonna be okay with XP?

My ping sim has been showing 1000msec since a month, yesterday at once it showed 830 msec, today a while back it was 525 msec then reduced to 352 msec and then 338 msec now when i logged in again it showed 1000 msec!! :\ frustrated! :\ I dont know what this indicates. [edited] I downloaded the VisualRounte Lite Edition, could you tell me how to get the sim URL? is it something like "sim9187.agni.lindenlab.com" ?

As I cant get into Second life, I'd like to know if its possible to pay Lindens outside SL. Rental money and stuff. - Ive tried everything possible to get in to SL. Facing some trouble since a month.

I have been using secondlife life normally as anyone would. I tried logging in one morning and i could see myself as a cloud, the place wont rezz neither me! My Linden balance shows as "loading.." and then after few minutes gets disconnected by itself. I kept doing the clean reinstall, checked with all viewers, called up my Internet providers , but all was ok! Last night it worked, I kept the inventory opened till it Fetched all the items..and then today morning i try to log in and the old problem comes back.Shows me as a cloud, my name shows too.Nothing else.No IMs nothing! :\ My system meets the min system requirements mentioned here on this site.\ What more? :\ - (edited) Yes i did everything possible :(

ok...well.....abt a week back i faced alot of trouble logging into sl...the problem was once i get my cache i cleared i cnt login.. evn after one whole week i cudnt login..i hd posted abt this earlier...n tried evrythin tht ws suggested by many helpers here....but nothing really helped :( and so i thought of formatting my system. i had windows XP previously...and now loaded with windows 7 with the latest driver...i downloaded imprudence viiewer...but wen i try opening it ...it says "second life cannot run cuz the vdo or grafix card driver isnt installed properly or are out of date n all tht lalalala" *sigh* can somone tell me wht to do? whr to get the approprate driver from? im totally frustrated! :\ - OK, first of all sorry for the abrreviations.. :\ The main problem is that I dont know much about updating the system or drivers, I usually call up a technician and get it done, but still it didnt work. I probably need the step by step instructions.I checked for my graphics card, it is Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM 1.0) This is what I see. Now am I to search for the latest driver provided by Intel? I hope so! lol! Im really sorry for all the difficulties :\

this is the same case with me too.... when i try to login from my computer it gets disconnected....but when i try frm my laptop it works! :\ so its sure tht the internet connection is fine!

yes.....well the reason y i clear my cache is because most of the folders in my inventory would not open...and so i clear my cache...but once i clear my cache it takes abt 3 to 4 days or longer to log back in! how do i fix this! it gets very bugging!!! :\ immediate help please! :( -ok heres what happns... i use imprudence.....i log in like usual..entering username password....n it strts to log in.... the loading world takes a bit more time than usual....n then downaloading clothing cms...with takes more time.. n then it shows your clothing is still downloading u cn use secondlife normally...i see a cloud n grey around me.... now i see the place isi rezzed my name shows...but im still a cloud...my frnds list dsnt rezz either it jus shows "Loading...." then after a while i get disconnected.... this is wht happens... - ive been trying since 2 days now....nothing works.....i cleared my cache manually, outside SL. did the clean reinstall.. did it many times....tried it with imprudence, phoenix and sl viewer 2! it dsnt help..... what do i do now! :(

for the past few days none of my folder in the inventory was opening...i mean the arrow next to the folder disappeared, n they dint open either! i asked my frnd abt it n she asked to try clearing my cache......n relog....wen i tried relogging it wud log in...showing me as a noob...n then crash! its bugging!! im using windows XP
