You know that sound that sounds like an atom bomb? I can only hear it when flying now. It made things more realistic when moving at a fast pace, or just a slight breeze when walking casually. Was this removed from the default ambient sounds? Because i haven't seen any mention of it's removal. UPDATE: I use firestorm viewer, although i haven't heard it in the default Second Life viewer either.

Remember that annoying background sound that sounded like a missile launching? The wind sound effect is apparently gone in Second Life's viewer 3, as it is no longer in Second Life. If anyone else has this problem, do you know how to get it back? You may think i'm crazy to want it back, but that's the one thing i'll remember the most in my old account back in 2008. (I can't remember my old password abd email address) If anyone knows what happened to the old wind sound, PLEASE let me know. If you have any spare time.. but you don't have to if you don't want to though.

The most memorable thing in Second Life for me was the ambient background wind. Is this gone too? I loved the moving trees, but after i bought a high end gaming computer, lag was nearly gone entirely (With the exception of having shadows enabled) It looked more natural because of the slower speed at which i saw them move. After that, it was like a massive land hurricane that only effected the trees. But now that it's gone, i no longer have to worry about the possibility of my avatar getting blown away never to be seen again.
