Smalltime Pawsies is a digi foot product that is slender and is modifiable so you can make the fur part any colour you like if you know how to edit parts of items. the foot has the digi shape but only goes on the foot section it doesnt go up to the knee like most digi. it comes with a few variations such as with a leg warmer or ankle band, with thighhigh tights with or without a bow. its the slimmest paw ive seen. if you dont know how to edit individual parts make sure to get one that is the colour you want. the inworld location is adult sim so if your not verrified youll have to use the marketplace for it and hope its not hidden in adult listings there. it shouldnt be as they arent graphic.
  2. Every time I try and buy lindens I get a pink banner page saying the transactions couldn't be made. No details why. I have verified there is a balance available on my card. Tried smaller amounts. Made sure the card is registered for internet use. Re-input the card information in case of errors (method of payment was accepted). Put my settings so the card I want used is checked off as the method of payment for web and in world. This was all done on a new card since I had this problem on the card before and got a replacement card to attempt to fix this problem. The problem is continuing on the new card. I have used the same sort of cards in the past with no problems so I know they are an accepted method of payment.
  3. hi. i was just reading some of the suggestions for the info your looking for and it occured to me that if your not getting the response from the implat makers inworld if they have the blog pages for their products you could post your question there for them. its possible it might get a faster response.
  4. How do i make multi small prims into a circle type formation without doing prim by prim? I have a builders tool that does this to make skirts but it has a maximum number of prims it will do so small prims have huge gaps between them. I want to be able to make things like necklaces with beads or links without having to place every one individualy. The skirt tool i have will also let the front or back dip lower than the rest so its not stuck bing a perfect circle and has some interest. I like the tool since it puts the prims all lined up so they dont look sloppy and would like something simmilar for jewlery so i can creat my own shapes instead of needing to settle for another designers shapes.
  5. How do I make a nano prim? I have seen some in world classes posted on this but rl pulls me away from the keyboard often and unexpected so I am unable to attend an actual class. Is there a youtube or blog that has the lessons for this? That way I can look at it at a time that works for me and if I have to go afk I wont be missing most of the info. I know I can buy some nano prims designed by others but they r not always the shapes I want so I need to be able to make my own.
  6. How do I make an off sim structure? If i make something that I want such as an off sim reef... how do i do that? is it a script? if so where do i find it? is it something like the temp rezzer boxes? if so do they have them in builders models and where do i get them? Also if you know, how does it work? whats the concept that makes them possible? if i know this and can't get a script or tool for making them if i know the concept of what they do i may be able to figure something out. thanks any info would be great. also as a side question... will whatever script or tool that makes them happen work on mesh or will there have to be a new generation of scripts that will be mesh compatible?
  7. As a designer/builder i came to the forums today to find information on how to make/use/work with mesh and what is needed to upload them into SL. This is the first item i came across and I fully agree. Mesh is hoped to bring SL into a whole new level of graphics and professionalism. Unfortunately at this time it seems many of the designers are scrambling to figure out how to work with mesh and this is showing in the products available. I recently did a grid hunt for mesh items and the only things avi-wise i ended up keeping were the skirts and footwear. Oh and the hairs.. they were great as long as the builder used good textures. The items that were meant for the top part of the avi whether a shirt or a dress didn't fit the avi at all no matter what size i put on. In most of them the alpha stuck out past the mesh. Thats not a good look. At this point when it comes to working with mesh I know about as much as a customer buying in a store. I don't even know how to edit its placement if in fact i can at all (hence looking up info today). We shouldn't need to change our shapes to fit the outfit. Part of our avis individuality will be taken away just to fit in a dress. It also sounds too much like the real world. Get those avis on a diet so they can fit in the model size clothing. No thanks. I'd rather not look exactly like everyone else that bought the same dress as me. Ideally mesh should conform to the individual shapes. That is part of what was meant to be great about it. Another issue i have with many of the existing mesh cloths at the moment is their overall look. Designers are still learning how to work with it so yes there will be a learning curve but... we can all look frumpy in the real world. Not going to buy things that make the avi look like she crawled out of bed and grabbed something off the floor. So far many of the items i've seen have been thick and not flattering in any way. Wearing a sack isn't better than the old way of making cloths. Next issue and as a designer this is why i've waited to even bother looking into making mesh items... Still so many people using viewers that don't work for mesh. Whats the point in wearing it or having it in the home if half your friends see blobs or part of you as invisible.. or nakie if there is no alpha. Many people are hanging onto the old viewers and I don't blame them.. I had much better graphic rez with the V1 viewers and once i moved up to be able to make the big prims without scrips (which I luv by the way) i got a lot of grey and blurry people. No amount of cache clearing or graphic cut backs have helped this. Not even going bk to V1 fixed the issue so whatever it is i'm stuck with it now. The more people move up to viewer that are mesh compatible the more designers will start making the products. The more designers working with mesh and more competition and know how will push the styles and qualities to be better. The more "how to" info for both the creators and end users out there the better. A suggestion to retailers selling the mesh.... Give a notecard with information... and not suggesting to change the customers avi to fit your creation... inform the customer how to adjust the mesh garment to fit their existing avi just like some sellers give edit cards for attached prims. Some of the dresses and tops I tried on I liked but having alphas sticking out even when going to a bigger size made them not work for me. Some dresses didn't even sit on the avi in the right point and didn't even cover the chest (yes the style was meant to cover). The whole thing needed moving up about 2 inches but the regular edit that I would do on prims didn't seem to do what I needed. If you look at some of the avis and products from the SL past weather you see them in person or just in some old products sale boards you will see how far the designing and avis have come. Think of mesh as the avis were in the beginning. That is where mesh is at.. eventually when people know what they are doing and have more practice it will get better just like the rest did. Its the designers and customers that have pushed SL to become more than it ever was and push the programers to keep up. Many of the designers are NOT programers and to make thing out of SL into compatible formats sometimes requires a computer genius just to make it happen. I hope the programers at some point are able to make uploading these outside builds that improve the virtual world much more user friendly. When that happens it will open doors for a huge group of people that have design skills but just aren't up to all the program script stuff required for SL compatibility. Theres my rant. The good, the bad and the frumpy.
  8. I'm new to sculpt and blender. This is my first try test sculpt. I need to know the format and stuff to save or export the sculpt in so i can upload to SL. I saw a simmilar question but the answers were for windows computers when they posted links for a format converter kind of thing. I'm on a Mac so I couldn't use those solutions. From what i understand of the answers of that question is that I'll need ether an external converter or an add on for blender to make things into a tga like the regular textures we upload. Different answers for that other persons questions said to first save as a (.dae) and another said to save as a (obj.) so i'm not even sure which one of those i would need etc. I'm guessing i cant just open one of those in gimp and save as a tga. the basic question is: how to i get the sculpt from blender to sl? given that i'm on a mac and have gimp available if that helps at all. Unfortunatly whatever the solution is if i have to download anything i will need them to be things that r free please. thanks ill look into that ok i still need help on this, i went to the inworld location given in the answers, the board that had the product i needed sent me to a webpage with info. the webpage doesnt have a download since for some reason it has to be sold even the free version in world. the board with the version i want keeps sending me bk to that same webpage. the free product i was able to get only gave me an older version of blender than what i already have and is such a diff version that id have to relearn everything..... theres got to be a less convoluted way of exporting to the right format. the thing that i got downloaded and instlled still didnt have the format i needed it was just an older version of what i have. didnt help at all unless there r some strange instructions of what i have to do with the other papers in that folder to get them attached to my existing belnder ... idk cause like i said im new to this and need more info that what a blurry inworld board gives me HELPPPPPPPP going to add that the blender version ive learnt on after much pulling out of hair is the 2.57 one and the information ive found for the python and prim star are for the erlier version which is wayyyyyy different and cant even open up my creation in the older version so without having to recreate the entire thing in a version i know nothing about isnt going to be realistic. is there a solution for the orriginal problem that fits my programs requiirements without me having to relearn and redo everything ive already done in the older version? at this point all ive ended up with is a bunch of downloads that still dont solve my problem... it gave me the older blender (2 kinds) and more info i found got me the prim star and the python installer but i still cant get what i need. The solution posted below isnt showing to be user friendly. it seems like u have to be a computer guroo just to get it installed even if u use the older versions suggested. the primstar part of what u get when u download the items from that location doenst even have an instaler u have to follow some tutorial with computer code lingo. im a designer not a tecky so i deffo need a more user friendly solution as well.
  9. R.U.Rogue marketplace products have been made unavailable for sale. LL closed the jira again without doing anything to solve the merchant outbox initializing issue. I still cant upload anything to marketplace and i will not have them get the % profit for item sales of already existing products. thier service and suport have failed me greatly and in the last few days i have logged at least 18 hours filling in jiras and messing around trying to get this problem fixed. having to keep reopening the reports i have sent from them closing them without solving has become too time consuming and is wasting my time and frustration. time is money and LL wont have mine. Ok ive been tossed bk and forth between the firestorm help bug report peple who say only linden labs can solve this isue and linden labs themselvs that keep closing the jira first saying the issue has been fixed with server deploys now saying it is a repeat. nothing got fixed with the server deploys and the repeat wasn't a new jira but my reopening the first one that they said they fixed and didnt. i have spent days trying to solve this issue going bk and forth in forums knowledgebase and filling out jiras long enough to be books. it has come to the point that my time is worth more than this mess and if they close the jira again without solving the issue there will be no point in me keeping the store open at all. i go to many build stores collecting supplies for new creations and i have been seeing stores drop like flys. i'm not the only creator giving up due to the continued frustration with the market outbox problem. the market store is my only source of income and i have no way of adding outside funds. many are in simmilar situations than i am and have inworld financial responsibilites that are failing due to the market stores malfunctioning. ive had enough and have spent too much valuable time trying to get new items into my store. i have a backlog of creations ready to go that will take forever to list as it is so will not be making any new items intended for sale since there is no point. im not wasting more time reopening jiras again if it gets closed without results one more time my store is gone and wont come back. My merchant outbox worked fine before when i switched all old items over to the new system and when i added new items. Now it is malfunctioning. I first tried many folders and it initialized for about 18 hours. Since I wasnt sure if that worked right i deleted the entries and tried again with only 5 folders each with only 5 items in them. This next set is still initialising after logging in and out and also trying the other viewer.I also logged off overnight and the box is still going with teh timer circle. I have tried logging in and out of both sl and my market store account in different orders and none has worked. The merchant outbox is stuck in this initializing pattern. I cant canecel it or undo it or add anything new to the store. How do I stop this and fixz it so I can put the backlog of new items into the store? Thanks. The preference settings are already i English so unless i switch to another then switch bk not sure i can do that one. I'll add to the report since the more added to it the more response it may get. Everything is still stuck in the holding pattern so even if it was a failed thing i cant click a "cancel" button and try a different item to see if it has the same result. Hope it gets fixed soon cause not much point in making more stuff ifr i cant list it.
  10. The script I have is supposed to work for sculpts. I followed instructions adding the UUID of the map into the script where the instructions said making sure to keep the syntax. The script saves but then I get the script error message. "Set Primitive params error running rule#3 (Prim_Type_Box) :arg#2(type)integer expected but vector given.... i tried changing box to sculpt to see what happens and the new error message was.... Set Primitive Params error running rule#1 (Prim_type_Sculpt) arg1 (texture) string or key expected but integer given... not much different.. the item is acting phantom but having a script error come up makes the product unprofesional. I'm not a scriptor, I only manage to use most scripts by following the instructions. I got the UUID by right click the map in inventory and copy asset UUID then ctrl V in the proper place in the script then saved the changes. I have made sure the sculpt parts of the build are not the root or parent prim. I have played around with the different parts of the script hoping to come accross the fix but no luck. Hopefully one of you that know more about scripts might have the answer. I tried to respond to the answers but this is the only way i saw.... I will try the forum as suggested but I dont think i can post the script itself without getting into trouble with TOS. and the other suggestion about teh quote marks that is the syntax i was careful not to change the paste was inside the quotes already provided in the script thanks.
  11. I can't buy $L. I tried and I got a failed delivery notice and tried again the next day same thing. Then I tried a diff payment method on day 3 and still failed transaction. I have used the payment method before with diff sorts of cards and didn't have a problem now its not finalizing any purchase even though it accepted the new card registration as a billing method. Help! I'm broke.
