Nope. All items on that avatar had absolutely no shiny applied.

I updated my viewer today, and was greeted with this. Read the picture's description if you don't see anything wrong. I tweeked the graphics options in my preferences, but nothing worked. Help? EDIT: Here's what the avatar SHOULD look like.

I'm about to go off the deep end here. Today, I worked really hard on an avatar, and almost every time I put on a piece, I would get a message saying "could not create requested inventory." At this point, I didn't really care, since the item rezzed anyway. As I continued, I kept getting this message, and it got a little irritating. When I tried to save the avatar as an outfit, I got the message again, and it didn't save all the objects I was wearing. I tried three more times, and got the same result. At this point, I completely lost it and started punching the screen. The computer's fine, so don't give me flak about it! Linden Labs, I'm getting sick and tired of how frikking buggy your game is. If this message pops up one more time, I'm going to require a strait jacket and a rubber room. :matte-motes-sour:

Every time I edit a shape, as soon as I close out the edit window, I find myself in the ground. Not exactly stuck, because I can still move, but still in the ground. I open the edit window back up, and see that the "hover" slider has been lowered somehow. I never even touched it! So I returned it to 50%, and after taking a few steps, the hover slider apparently reset, and I was in the ground again. Can somebody tell me what's going on?

This did nothing but restart me in basic mode, and I have no idea how to turn it off. I'm actually starting to cry now. My favorites bar is still empty. I'm still missing several items, as well as most of my outfits. I'm crushed, people. Heartbroken. Do you have any idea how long I've been compiling all that? Just look at my join date. Years of progress, wiped off the face of the Earth.... I thank the Lord that there isn't any rope in the house.....

Remember how I said a few days ago that my Second Life viewer would crash before I had the chance to log in? Well, I uninstalled and reinstalled, and that fixed it. But now, after I got logged out due to server issues, I have lost everthing. EVERY. FRIGGIN'. THING. My favorites, and all my outfits save what I was wearing at the time. I lost all my landmarks, I might have lost my firends list, I haven't checked. I have no idea what happened. Linden Labs, please fix this, or I will simply uninstall the viewer from my system, cut all ties to your community, and possibly even kill myself spiral into deep depression, as I will probably never see my friend Silenrea ever again. Yes, my Second Life matters that much to me.

Okay, I just got the newest viewer update.... And now I can't even get to the log in screen. I'll post an error report as soon as I find where the dang things are kept...

Glad to see I'm not the only one experiancing this.

AND FOR NO REASON AT ALL. I usually encounter this when my viewer crashes. But now this is going too far! I only teleported! And now all the rust textures on my robot are GONE. Seriously, what the hell?!

So, I just bought a few mesh avatars on the marketplace, and when I put them on, it's all scrunched up.
