This has been happening for years now on my PCs, I tried absolutely everything that everyone recommended, twice over the past few years since this is happening. This has happened through different updates, before and after clean installs, and before and after getting a new PC a couple of years ago. I assumed it would never come back for whatever reason. And then, the weird happened: the favorite landmarks dropdown list is perfectly there on my laptop.
It's the same Firestorm version, same account, same landmarks (of course), same exact settings, same everything, except that one is a desktop and the other one a laptop.
Help? Please? This is driving me bonnnnnkers.

I'm aware, but I have searched all through the Marketplace info pages, and Flag is all I can find.
All the instructions about filing an Abuse Report refer to inworld witnessed activity, not Marketplace items.
If you know something that I don't, please keep in mind that I come to a forum seeking information, and a link or a direction would be more helpful than snark.

Oh come onnnnnn... the character may well bee 900 years old, but if it really really looks like a child in a sexualized situation, it still plays with the idea that childish may still look sexy. And that is the whole issue. I've seen plenty of rather questionable ads for Kawaii, Anime, etc., which really nail (no pun intended) that concept in ways that can be gross. Obviously pre-teen wide-eyed faces, grabbing a Teddy bear and a lollypop, lean small bodies (with boobs sometimes), with a band-aid on a knee, piggy tails... and BDSM outfits. I don't care if you swear the character is 18+ for the sake of LL, it looks bad.

I have the same problem. The weird thing is that I didn't have this problem a few days ago. I did several pictures before, no alpha showing, but a couple of days ago, the nasty alpha "appeared" in front of my eyes.
I thought of hiding them inside my head, but even with eye depth zero AND lash length zero, they show. But if you already contacted LOGO and that's what they told you, I guess there is no solution for me...
What puzzles me is that I never had this issue before, and I've been using my LOGO head for photography and blogging, without any problem.
NOTE: you won't see it if you turn off the Advanced Lighting Mode... but then of course, things don't look so pretty and you can't play wiht depth of field or shadows... I've been banging my head against the keyboard, so now I'm ready to give up.

Ah, the alpha cuts, of course! Maitreya also recently updated the body. Now both Maitreya and Slink have even more alpha cuts than before, and they also offer saving slots for alpha patterns. By the way, Maitreya is also compatible with Slink hands and feet, which was a BIG yes yes toward Belleza and Maitreya, because by then most people had already bought hands and feet.
Interesting what you mention about Omega for the Belleza body! One of my favorite designers makes separate appliers for Omega and Belleza. Does it need a bridge, like the Maitreya body?

It comes to personal taste. I would try all the demos for the specific shapes. Lena Lush, for example, can give you a Jessica Rabbit look, even if you use the "standard" shape, and some people prefer that. Others find it too extreme and less natural. Pussycat summarized most bodies pretty well, but you would have to see for yourself. When I was choosing, I got all the demos I could, then I compared them all using the same shape. I played with the sliders to see how it would look with bigger/smaller body parts. Remember that "nice" boobs/butt is subjective, and not everyone likes the same thing.
About skins... I think that most skin makers have or are developing appliers for Slink and Omega, which covers the Slink Physique body and every other mesh body that is Omega compatible (Maitreya, Lena, etc.). I believe Belleza Venus only works with Belleza skins (and vice-versa), but I could be mistaken. If the skin is good, it will look good, just as in the SL body. I'm not sure if TMP has anything compatible with anything other than itself; they're like the Apple of mesh bodies: you can make appliers of clothes, but that's pretty much it; you have to use their products.

Perhaps a first step could be to develop something to grant the ability to turn on/off clothing layers. I only own two mesh bodies, so I don't know how all work, but mine have three layers: tattoo, undies and clothing. With a little imagination, one could be wearing three different outfits at the same time, and someone else could change between parts of those three or undress the person.
Of course it wouldn't be the same as being able to access a large wardrobe, but at least for a start that seems more doable, perhaps?

The particulars of my question would be being ejected from a group that originally cost 500L$ to join, without having violated TOS, group rules, created any sort of problem in group chat, spammed or anything at all; ejected for personal reasons that are in no way related to the membership to this particular group.
I'm aware that group owners and merchants are free to eject whomever they want for whatever reason. Is there any way that customers who have paid Linden$ for the right to belong to a group can defend themselves from this kind of arbitrary action?

Let's say I own a store and I want to send a little freebie or organize a special offer for people who have my store in their profile picks. Is there any way that I can know who has my store in their picks?
EDIT: The idea of the gift thingy at the store approaches, but what I really want to do is randomly pick from the list of people who have my store in their picks. Like some sort of raffle.
Second edit: "(although I suppose you could do that by hand by opening the profile of a randomly-selected potential winner)." Yes, after doing this for an hour and a half, I came to ask this question.

I believe it is totally possible to develop something like this in the near future. I'm thinking about the Slink Guest Station, where you stand and anyone can click and recolor your Slink hands and feet. Perhaps something similar, restricted to a specific user can be developed for your partner to be able to click and turn your clothing layers on and off.
There are several things that I would like to see further developed regarding mesh bodies, but we have to be patient :-)

Eu acho que sem cartão de crédito não vai dar, se você está no Brasil. A melhor escolha seria sempre PayPal, mas no Brasil você precisa cartão de crédito para se cadastrar no PayPal. Eu pergunto, porque em outros paises a gente não precisa (eu também não tenho cartão de crédito, mas tenho PayPal).
Os Lindens que você tem, você comprou ou ganhou? Se você comprou, então você pode usar o mesmo método para pagar a conta premium. Mas se você ganhou os Lindens inworld, eu acho que você vai precisar mesmo um cartão de crédito para mudar a conta para premium.

I think your question was, actually, how to calculate how they adjusted real time versus SL time and, therefore, how long does your pregnancy last according to Mama Allpa.

At the bottom of that page, there's a link for a .xls file called "pregnancy calculator". It has the "conversion" for RL/SL time at the beginning of that file. The rest are recommendations for your body shape changes along the pregnancy (with which, as a doctor, I have to strongly disagree, but that's another issue).
Also, if you already have the HUD, you can join the Mama Allpa Group for questions, a link to the group is in your HUD under "Help".

I had some feet (that I had bought before I had my Slink feet) that kind of adapted to Slink feet, but only for the flat feet. None worked for the mid or the high feet. You can IM me inworld, if you're interested :matte-motes-grin:

I have no clue how they wore it in America, but there are cool African buns in booN (at least I like them).

My partner and I are looking for a pet. Preferably, one that we wouldn't have to feed all the time, one that wouldn't die on us if we have to stay out of SL for some reason. We don't want animals for breeding, just a little friend we can pet and play with, a lot. We want a pretty smart pet, too. After going to a LOT of pet stores and stuff, we are currently torn between VKC and Zooby's.
The looks, that's a point for Zooby's: I haven't seen cats looking better or more realistic than Zooby's cats; they look amazing. Dogs rock too, VKC are second best for our taste. Their dogs look good; their cats, much less so.
About the AI, seems to be point for VKC: We heard that VKC pets are "smarter", you can teach them personalized tricks, while Zooby's pets seem to have a set of limited tricks that they can learn (and you have to pay for "Gems" for them to learn). Also, Zooby's pets need to be daily washed, fed and other daily-consuming L$ things in order to maintain their "Happiness" levels, or they will get sick, even if they won't die. To heal them? More L$. Is this information correct?
Co-ownership, a split point: I can set a friend as another owner and even transfer the pet to them, if he also wants to hold it or carry it around (attaching it). BUT on the Marketplace, Zooby pets appear as no transfer. While you can attach a VKC pet, and even grown big dogs can be trained to attach to you when you TP (according to a trainer we spoke to), they cannot be transfered and they only have one owner. But the VKC pets seem to be naturally "friendly" with everyone. As soon as you go there, they come greet you and any friend can pet them with them. The pets at Zooby's are rezzed as decoration, so you can't play with them to see them in action.
To be honest, I would love a mix of those two, with the looks of the Zooby's and the "personality" of VKC pets, if I understood everything correctly. But I guess you can't have it all.
Can other pet owners (or developers) help us out here? Did we get this correctly? Decisions, decisions...

Thank you. I finally chose the Elegant hands. They look like a, well, more elegant version of the Casual hands and they look good also when I'm holding cups or even handbags (it looks like I'm delicately holding the bag with a couple of fingers).
In fact, I can highly recommend the Elegant hands for the first set, because they seem a little more versatile even than the Casual hands, which don't look as good as these for holding stuff (even though they do look good, too). If I buy a second set, it could be the Casual. I toy with the idea of having different right/left hands; that would look even more natural, but that will require some serious L$ saving.
I love my new hands with a passion. Their customer service is Just. The. Best. Ever.

Thank you both, now here's the thing. As I said, this has been happening for years now, after years of daily relogs, Firestorm updates, clean updates, Firestorm instructions followed to a t (basically did everything listed here: https://wiki.firestormviewer.org/fs_landmark_issues), etc. My folders are fine, it just doesn't show on the login screen. I never changed the skins at all, same skin in both my PC and my laptop, and yet, the laptop has the list normally, while the PC hasn't had it for years.
