Hey guys, I was thinking about looking for bloggers to help bring attention to the Sim I work on. It's an ocean sim where you can learn to surf waves and we have rideable sea animals and such. We also have flying things and tons of interesting little gadgets. Mostly all geared to people who are nearby the Void Sea. The items "extend" their Sim in a sense so it doesn't take up room only Prims. My questions are: What are your experiences with bloggers? Did you notice a change after having a blogger talk about your Sim? Were they a well known blogger? What kind of payment do bloggers generally seek to blog about your Sim? Hey! I was wondering... How do Classified Ads work? Are they worth it? My bosses shop mainly sells Ocean items. Ocean Waves, Kayak, Surfboards, Marine Animals and so forth. We are looking for a way to make more people come to the store. From what we understand from classified ads you pay money to run an Ad and the more you pay the higher it is in the ranking. Second how does the Search Function work? Is there a way to make it so people can "Search" for our Group/Land and Teleport there? Do you guys have your stuff listed on secondlife.com/destinations ? Is it difficult to get the land listed there? Is it worth it? What kind of incentives can we give to get customer feedback? Like giving them small amounts of $L for filling out a survey or maybe a promo or Coupon for an item in the store? We are also trying to hold a surf contest event. What are some good ways to promote it? So far no one has signed up... Lastly, I use Phoenix Viewer and when I open it they display "What's Hot" "Destinations" and "Events" how do we go about having our stuff listed here? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!!! I am presently setting up "A Night in Vegas" event and we are wanting to know if you would be willing to sponsor our event? The "A Night in Vegas" event is going to have a 500L Contest prize associated with it provided by the club owner. The last event we had the sim was packed with 30 - 40 people, raising our traffic and interest in the club to over 7K. The crowd was hoping and brought a lot of attention to the sponsors we had that night. For a small simple donation we can bring that attention of your shop &/or service.
