I have a question for LL, no need for anyone else to respond I have group land with the name GACHA in it. What happens here. I can change the name of the land but do I seriously have to sell and rebuy my land and ask all my tenants to rejoin? I also have a large chat group with Gacha in the name. What would be nice is it just for a one off, anyone with the name gacha in their group can change the name. This would eliminate massive headaches for many people. Can this be covered in the FAQ please?

You people can laugh all you like. The reality is real people are losing real income sources. I dont think thats something to be laughed at. If you dont like gacha, dont play it. Its not hard. I think the biggest whiners and the loudest laughers are ones who have no self control and didnt know when to stop playing. For now, keep your laughing emojis to yourself. Show some EMPATHY!

I know of botters and nothing is being done. Ask any gacha dealer. There are several large conglomerates who have this down to a fine art. I never mentioned LL has filed actions, they do nada...zilch.

Copybotting is a MAJOR issue still. Not sure where you are coming from.

So typical of LL to address this issue so quickly after having ignored the issue of copybotting for so many years. Since resales are still "okay" LL wont lose out financially as they make a nice cut [10%] from MP sales of gacha. (of course!) Copybotting will now increase. If a creator decides NOT to open up their gacha packs for sale as copy, then the current gacha item will become even harder to come by therefore inflating its worth, hence the temptation to copybot by lowlifes will correspondingly explode. I hope LL has a plan to combat copybotting. [Cue laughing out loud] Yes, I AM biased as I own a gacha resale market. SL has completely lost its worth to me. Enjoy your sex sims.

Disallow reselling of gacha on Marketplace completely. Its confusing for buyers who do not understand gacha. Many believe they are buying from the original creator and that in itself creates all kinds of issues. It is too difficult to monitor and control copybotters on MP. They get reported then open a new account, there is no accountability. Inworld reselling can be far more easily monitored and buyers can quickly check the sellers profile and ascertain the risks. Most of the bigger yardsale owners keep a vigilant watch for any suspicious activity on their sims and in the gacha community in general. It is easier to get the word out amongst inworld gacha groups regarding a rogue seller as opposed to sharing that information to the wider MP shopper base.

When I want to filter out gacha, I check no transfer. Pretty easy. That being said, I detest gacha being on the MP at all. Gacha WAS a game, a hunting type of game where you attempted to collect a set via the machine, then you tp'd about searching for your missing pieces. There was a community and it was a good community. Now, its all on MP the fun has gone out of gacha and cheats have taken advantage of not being accountable [as they would have to be inworld] to exploit gacha. Disallow gacha resale on MP entirely is my steadfast opinion.
