I still can't log into SL, I did every possible thing from rebooting modem by unplugging cables for a couple of times and then rebooting both modem and my computer but nothing happened. I get the same message again and again when i try to log in-" Logging in, SL appears to be frozen, please wait" and then SL dissappears. I don't understand what has really happened. By the way, thanks for your suggestion and tips.....any new ideas??

I am using Second Life 3.0. It was running well on my laptop, but last week I could not sign in. A message box appeared saying DNS host could not resolve the problem....and so on...but later on the following day it worked properly again. But now again I'm having a problem in Signing In. It says "we could not sign in your name and password, this might happen when you change your network setup"...everything is alright, how come this message pop up?? And one more, when i enter my username and passwork another dialogue appears as-"Second Life is frozen, searching for alternative server1, server2, server3..." and then the SL window disappears....... For the past 2/3 days I couldn't log into SL....WHY?????????????

I upgraded my SL 2.8 to version 3.0. Now when I sign in to newer version I could not sign in, instead a message pop-up like this:- Login failed DNS could not resolve the host name Please verify that you can connect to the www.secondlife.com website. Now I even couldn't sign in on older version 2.8. Why?????????????????????
