  1. Lap just corrected what he told me. Nobody OWNs the LEA. LaPiscean Liberty: Patti and I "own" the sims as I told you- but they are really more of a stewardship-or a trust-LL trusts that we will manage them for the artists so they can use them for short periods of time and then when they finish their grant periods they return them to us so that the next group of artists are able to use the sims

  3. The sims are owned by people who pay for it... in my opinion, it is kind of normal if they are part of the committee no matter what.
  4. I do support in SL for about 10 years and had the opportunity to adjusted "hundreds" of users about network. I have now 9 viewers installed. I understand you say that, but i am not a new user, and i know what i am talking about, with all due respect.
  5. Singularity Alpha 6937 (has Bento), it is not an official release however it proved itself very stable and the less laggy of all viewers by far. http://alpha.singularityviewer.org/alpha/ Group Info: secondlife:///app/group/4fa278be-b621-9447-0958-85af4b01cdab/about
  6. Still valid info if someone ask why they get the error. better late than never. Some viewers still have the Merchant Outbox in their folders. But unusable.
  7. The Merchant Outbox is no longer in use, that's why you get the errors. You must open your marketplace store with Second Life and then you will have a new folder called "Marketplace Listing". It's replacing the merchant outbox. And you will only have it in your inventory folders once your marketplace is approved and open. Then you can put items in it and then, set the sell details of your items in your marketplace store webpage.
  8. ‎ What is the max bandwidth speed default used by secondlife servers. Is it 1500 Kbps, 3000 Kbps? I am talking about the connection between client - server What is the maximum bandwidth the server use to insure a connectivity with the client? 10 years in SL and i always read 1500 Kbps, but someone just told me 3000 Kbps, so i'm wondering. I do lot of support for viewers and this info is necessary. Please no guess answer. I need the real answer. Thank you!
  9. You got to run the test in the viewer browser to know if your viewer version the browser is updated. if you run the test outside on your computer browser, they frequently upgrade, but secondlife need to make a new viewer to have it upgraded to TLS 1.2 So in other words, if you test from your computer browser it will say its ok... That DOES NOT mean your secondlife is upgraded to TLS 1.2. You need a version of SL that confirm is TLS 1.2 compatible, and run the test in the Secondlife Web Browser to know if it works.
  10. Friendlist deleted, need rollback, is it possible? and How? It is for my friend Wayne Davis Rocks, live musician.
  11. I had the same problem, and i have the real solution to fix it easily. It was probably caused by a different viewer who offered the option in their menu, but SL viewer 2 don't offer it, ok, here is the answer. IT IS NOT THE SAME AS IN THE MENU PREFERENCE - That one hide all group tags. This is a different option called RenderHideGroupTitle in the console with a bolean False/True. This different option is used to toggle hide/show only yours. You can hide only your tag (even if you wear it) and keep seeing others tags. Go in Advanced menu (CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+D to enable it) scroll down to: Show debug settings. Then in the list of commands search for RenderHideGroupTitle and set it to False or True to toggle the tag on and off. Enjoy!
