Well than we can agree we don't find the same things tacky. You can think those outfits are tacky and I think the most the ones on SL are tacky. What wrong with that. If you can have your opinion that some other thing is tacky then why can't I have the opinion that the majority of SL is tacky?

ill you try to find a non tacky side in SL? I know it exist but it is burried under tackiness will you leave this place for loosers ? you're hopeles just trying to squish them together. tan skin is not tacky. Fake overdone orange tan is tacky. that dress is definitely not a $20 dress.

the cover of Vogue is not teen vogue. Teen vogue will feature stuff that teens talk about and jersey shore was very popular at the time. The style is still not seen as desirable.

that is not a jersey shore cheap dress and it's not worn with gigantic fake boobs and fake overdone tan.

here's another person getting offended because of a word. It's the reputation SL has in the real world and in the media.

You will never see lola type boobs on Vogue nor those jersey shore cheap dresses. Those belong maybe on men's magazines where clothes don't matter. The presentation is completely different. The marketplace is tacky and not the fashion kind of tack but jersey shore type of tack.

Yes! There's a kind of a stigma attached to SL. which makes it emabarassing to admit to being on SL because it looks like SL is for losers.

It's just that from an outsider perspective, it looks like proof that SL is a place for real life losers who can get laid in real life so it they try to make cyber sex as realistic as possible.

Maybe they are doing that but it is making SL look very tacky.

It is embarassing to me because I'm aware of the negative image and reputation that SL has in the media and among other people. I don't think I would tell anyone about it unless necessary. I started this thread wondering if there anyone find it embarassing to admit because of how tacky it looks but turned out I got attacked for posting though there was a funny momment thanks to a few members with a sense of humour.
