A friend of mine sent me some L$ when I was offline. When I logged in, the IM window informed that my friend had paid me the L$. But it has not been credited to my account. I checked my Transaction Histroy, and even there ,there is no mention of the transaction having taken place. Where did those L$ go? I would appreciate any help/info/insight into this matter. Thanks.

Hey buddy I am experiencing the *exact* same thing. Word to word same. Even I got fed up and tried doing a number of things to fix it, but nothing has worked. I even tried opening with the 1.23 version, but no luck. I lost count of the number of times i tried unisntalling and reisntallin, clearing the cache etc etc Finally I uninstalled the whole secondlife package from my system for good, including the files from the appdata, deleted it all, went to my old secondlife setup of viewer 2.7.2 and now it is running like new! I also disabled the automatic update option from the preferences menu. Incidentally, I started having this problem with version 2.8 onwards and especially the last version which is 2.8.0.236429
