  1. Full sim, 15K prims, $200, seller pays the transfer fee. Tier charges on the 27th. Drop a notecard on Karl Shergood.
  2. Our roleplay sim is changing builds, and to celebrate the old one, we're opening it up to the world for a photo contest. There are a couple of top 1,000L prizes, but there's also bragging rights: the best photos will be displayed in the new sim's orientation area as a tribute to its history. Please check out the rules (we'd like the photo both in-world and on flickr, etc) here http://theroadtodeadwoodcity.com/simplemachinesforum/index.php?topic=220.0 Deadline to enter is Halloween
  3. We're celebrating the roleplay sim Deadwood by hosting a photo contest with a couple of 1,000L prizes. The roleplay sim is going to be changing, so you don't have to roleplay, just come take pictures! For information on how to visit the sim and enter, please see http://theroadtodeadwoodcity.com/simplemachinesforum/index.php?topic=220.0
  4. Many of us feel your pain. It's just nonsense that the support people claim they can't speak with the governance people, as if the governance people are kept in a chamber away from all other life. Someone should give them an Internet connection or something... One risk about returning the griefer's objects is that the last time I did that, then other objects belonging to people who belong in the sim started being returned as well. But I forgot to disable scripts when I returned the griefer's stuff; if the Lindens don't show up in a day or two I'll do that and hope for the best.
  5. Of course it was done to force us to pay conversion fees ... why else?
  6. Asked this in a smaller thread; apologies if you see it twice. Hoping you SL veterans can help me figure out what the change means ... So several people chip into our private estate by providing Lindens.I then sell those lindens and create a cash balance in the account. That doesn't reach the full $295. Every month, I've added some of my own cash to the account to reach the $295. And that was all wonderful, but it sounds like there's been a change. A couple years ago, I didn't have enough in the account and the Lindens skipped over the cash I had and pulled all $295 out of my credit card. I'd prefer to avoid that. Hopefully, what they will do in this new system is collect the $210 in the account and only grab the $85 from my credit card. If anyone knows different and they'll charge me all $295, please let me know so I can appropriately panic.
  7. Here's a question since a lot of you know about billing, and I'd welcome thoughts.
