  1. Kylie, If you follow the thread you will notice that none of the advice given has yet solved the problem, hence I continue to ask. If you have no suggestions I suggest you resist posting responses.
  2. As I said, LLCOMMON.DLL is distributed with the viewer and installed, and incorporates some links as part of the installation. Finding another LLCOMMON.DLL and replacing it simply does not work.

How do I resolve it ?
  4. This IS an SL problem, not a Microsoft problem since the file LLCOMMON.DLL is distributed with your chosen SL viewer and is not a part of the Microsoft Windows operating system. In addition the link you provided in you last message returns a '404 Not Found' message, thank you.
  5. The link you gave does not relate to the problem I am encountering. I tried all different versions of all different viewers. For 10 months everything has been fine, then Friday evening comes and I cannot access SL through any viewer, even older versions of viewers.
  6. So can you explain why it has suddenly started happening, when everything has been fine for the last 10 months ? And where do I find this V1 codebase viewer like Phoenix ?
  7. I am at my wits end with Second Life and I hope you can direct my problem to an appropriate person to resolve. The problem is this. I have used Second Life successfully for 10 months with various viewers but from Friday evening 11th November at 10pm GMT, 2pm SL time, I have been unable to log onto Second Life with any viewer, including SL Viewer. In addition, when I log onto the Second Life website I notice that the other resident is marked as 'online'. I need to find a solution to this problem as a matter of urgency since I have L$ loaded with both residents and I have commitments to fulfill in Second Life.
