is there any way to know the internet connection is ok or not for second life? i think my internet connection is ok...but i m having problem very often..... ( sorry for language, i m not english speking)

i turned off the firewall.....still i m having this problem....???why? its so much painful that i m unable to use second life......;(

I use windows xp service pack 3, so in windows firewall how can i solve this problem.????

While logging in to second life viewer loads up to waiting for region handshake then says "you are having trouble connecting. There may be a problem with your internet connection or the second life grid"...but there is no problem in my internet connection. but I am unable to log in...what should I do now?
