So much of the furniture and landscaping in SL is not made in an optimized way. One way to see how much of it might be your stuff versus other stuff in the region is to drop your draw distance down to 32 and see how things rez. Then slowly increase it until you find the breaking point.
A few hours ago, I dropped my draw distance down and that helped. I'm still over 100 and it's working better.

Thanks, Tori, but there's no way I'm going to use a Linden avatar and strip off everything I'm wearing, just to be able to walk in my house or rez some items. My complexity is under 50k. Just rezzing a simple pillow on the floor took forever to see more than just a gray blob. It's 2020 and LL should be able to do much better than this.

I'm experiencing terrible lag in Linden homes. It takes forever to even see the house and wall colors, and when I rez something it takes forever to rez. My typical FPS is 80-150, but there it's 4-12. I end up getting frustrated and leaving. It's not fun when it takes 5 or more minutes to see what you've rezzed. Even trying to look at a texture in my inventory took forever to become visible.

Thanks for the further information.
As for the HUD issue, all my hair and clothing HUDS worked normally, my internet connection is fast and good, my boyfriend wasn't experiencing any issues of any kind in our region, so I'm at a loss. I suppose there's no point in trying to analyze it, but just hope it was a one time aberration.

I did those steps last night and it didn't work. In fact, I did it multiple times, including relogging. It's working now and I don't know why, but thank you for the explanation and instructions.
It wouldn't make sense that the HUDS were "fried" because I tried MANY lipstick appliers targeted for Catwa and even a couple of Omega appliers and none of them worked. That would have meant that every HUD in my inventory had been "fried".
I have another question because I'm not quite clear on what you said. You talked about lipgloss with stars, but what about a regular lipstick applier? Can I use ALL my other lipstick appliers with the HD lips? If I have to take the lips on and off to use all my other appliers, I probably won't bother wearing them even though I like them a lot.

I'm at my own house and it allows scripts. Everything was normal until I wore the Catya HD lips for a couple of hours. Now, none of my appliers work after detaching the lips. I even put a different copy of my Catya head on.

I was wearing the Catya HD lips and detached them to wear different lipstick appliers. No matter what applier I try to use, nothing applies. I put on the master hud and cleared the lipstick and that didn't work either. What am I doing wrong?

I'm attaching a photo using "Analu Natural" and the line is gone. I was using Analu *Studio* 5 and had been for several years with no problem on any of my skins until it changed literally overnight. I can't understand that at all. We turned off all light sources in the house, even though none had been added, and I TP'd to many regions and it was still there. I"m not crazy about Analu Natural because although my face looks fine, the house seems a little dark as if it were a dingy, cloudy day. I can't seem to find one that makes my face and the environment look good at the same time. (Firestorm)

My profile is blank on purpose. I keep my groups hidden, etc. and haven't bothered taking a new profile picture. I don't know why, but I didn't notice an IM from you, but I often don't bother looking at them. I'll send you a message.

If you pay the $99 annually, considering the L$300 they give you every week, you'll pay $3.05 per month. That's not bad. The bad thing is taking groups away from basic members. That is really beyond wrong. You don't get people to become premium members by making basic useless and trying to force them. The 42 groups for basic is ridiculous and now they are reducing it even more. Shame on them. It may bite them in the .........

I don't know what happened, but my response from last night isn't here. I got the latest version of Catya, checked all the settings, and it's still there. I've TP'd to other regions and it's still there. I'm using the same windlight I was using when it wasn't there (Analu *Studio* 5,), which is better than Nam's. I've changed my hair several times, I've changed skins, shapes, clothes, etc. and it's still there. Nothing has been added to our house either. It doesn't make any sense. I really don't know what to do or where to go for help. When I logged out one night, it was fine, but when I logged in the next day, it was there.

This is really strange. The line is back today. Nothing has changed since last night when it disappeared....same location, same everything. When the line first appeared, everything was the same too.....in my house, no new lighting sources, no facelights, nothing different. I TP'd to other sims and it was there. Today, I TP'd to only one other sim and it wasn't there. If I TP to the far edge of my yard, many meters away from the house it's still there. I'm using the same windlight that I've always used with no problem. I just TP'd to a second store, and it's there, and a third location that's not a store, and it's there.

I just solved it by adding a hair base!!!!!! It's odd that it just showed up last night when I haven't changed the hair base in eons. Thanks everyone.

I have a strange white line above my upper lip. I have cleared everything possible on my Catwa head hud and I have changed skins and shapes, but it's still there. It's worse with a skin that has fuller lips. The arc is higher and closer to my nose. I've also changed eyebrow shapers and now I'm out of ideas.

No matter how many times I change the language back to English, every time I log in, it's in Spanish. How do I make it stay in Enlgish permanently? It's been doing this for months and it's really irritating.

I couldn't agree more! Do they really think it's a good idea to make people pay for premium membership to get something that everyone should have had a long time ago? Also, with as many groups are out there to join, we should all have the ability to be in 75 groups or more and not have IMs capped. These should be standard features, not premium. Just because of things like this, I would never pay for premium membership. It's more like coercion than a premium incentive. Holding things hostage that should be standard features, just isn't cool.

LL needs to set the record straight on what can and can't be done with their scripting language by the best hackers in the world because we are all very tired of these panic causing notices filling up the group chats on a regular basis.
I'm not a scripter so I could be completely wrong but it seems logical to think if any of these hacking scams that circulate on almost a monthly basis, were possible, that every single person in SL would have lost their accounts, passwords and every linden they owned plus their bank accounts wiped out many years ago. Don't give anyone your password, don't log into to bogus SL sites believing anyone is really going to give you free lindens, and don't accept candy from strangers. Follow that, and you'll be fine:)
Please, please Linden Lab put out a big in-your-face notice on your front page about what can and can't be done within the constraints of the Linden Lab scripting language and put an end to these stupid and annoying Danger! Danger! Hackers have found a way to take your password, user ID, every linden you have and every dime you own in RL!!!!!

I think it's terrible that LL did this and totally agree with the person that said they don't bother asking the users what they want, they just barge ahead thinking they will get new users from FB.Facebook is free..those people aren't used to spending money and from what I know, there are a ton of FB users that are computer literate enough to sign into their e-mail and FB and that's about it. If I want to interact with FB, I'll log into FB. SL is SL and nobody I've talked to wants to mix them. Maybe the teenagers thinks it's cool but I don't think too many other people are happy about this at all. Most people are pretty outraged that LL has done this and it also seems the only people that like Viewer2 are the people who are new and never used any other viewers so they have nothing to compare it to.
LL needs to wake up and listen to all the problems and issues that the current users have been screaming about for years, and worse yet, some residents being professional programmers, etc. have told them exactly how they can fix an issue and they ignore it when they are things that could and should have been fixed long ago. Instead I see LL excitement that you can now have a car or robot avatar. Oh, boy, just what I always wanted to do....run around SL as a VW. Are they appealing to 8 year olds?
Come on LL....listen to the people that are spending money in SL TODAY and spent money in SL last year and the year before. Let us easily back up our inventory to our computers so when a famous SL glitch occurs, we don't lose everything we spent REAL money on. Maybe people would spend more if they could safely back it up against sudden loss. But when you know your entire inventory can be gone, never to be seen again, who wants to do that? Only people that don't know that can happen to them so easily. I've been told that LL has lost universities who weren't allowed to take content THEY created out of SL. How many people and businesses do they have to lose before they wake up? It's just sad!

Just found the answer. A possible bug in Phoenix. or SL...not sure which one owns this bug . He added me as an owner but this time when he was asked if he was sure he wanted to add me, he checked the box that says, Don't show me this pop up again. Then he closed it and repeated the process again. This time with that pop up disabled, it worked!. Hope this helps someone that's having the same problem.

Hope someone has some advice. Our land isn't on the mainland and we are trying to add me as a co-owner of our 2 person group and even though it says...are you sure you want to do that?, and he chooses "yes", nothing happens and I am not added.
