I block things (not only avatars but objects, too) sometimes, but it is never related to any insult or drama or punishment, nothing personal. Blocking is alway technical for me: to mute a sound that is annoying. As an example: there was a period when I lived in an apartment house in SL. My next door neighbors often used voice to chat. Can you imagine how pleasant it was to stay at Home to listen to the neighbors conversation? Blocking is a very logical thing in this case, nothing personal. The same fits to all the other cases: annoying voice chats, gesture spams, unstoppable public chat during events like theatre productions, or objects creating loud ambiance noise... - all will be blocked by me without any emotion.

I'm a member of several active groups but I discovered that I receive only about the half of the group notices, even from the same group. How is it possible that all my groups I'm a member in are set to "receive group notices from this group", but some of them I receive, some of them I don't. When I log in and check the Groups window / Notices section, I regularly discover several notices sent out, but never receiving them neither through my e-amil address, nor as an inworld pop-up. Update: the answer is not a solution to my question. Still I have to manually check all my groups' "Notices" section inworld, and I always find some notices among them that I haven't received through my e-mail while I was offline. I don't reach the 25-messages only limit, I login almost daily, so my IMs and group notices are so few that they cannot be capped.

The place looks very promising, exactly the "smoky/underclass tango bar" that I prefer to more shiny/formal ones.
