I assumed that they do this to make it harder for kiddies who aren't allowed to be on SL. Thus the same reason why one cannot buy an Acess Pass ( which enables adult content) on IMVU using a prepaid card.

[What Were Your Firsts?]

First thing I bought was hair, first place I went was to a bunch of starter areas in search of some freebies and first outfit I made that didn't use Library clothes wore a black tank top, red capris and the same short hair that I bought first.

 

Oh, and my first L$ purchase was transferring 14k worth of IMVU credits from my long abandoned creator account and converting them to L$ through a reseller.
