Rebaking textures, clearing the cache (manually and from within second life), switching to a charcter test avatar. The problem is not isolated to using a single skin or shape, and occurs when wearing any shape other than a test avatar. Occasionally the error message 'error unable to place object at specifed location' appears on login, but not always. The issue occurs on the second life 2 viewer and on phoenix. I'm using the latest linux versions of both viewers. I would submit a support ticket about this, but i cannot fathom which category applies to avatar or inventory issues. Help would be much appreciated.
