Hi I've just checked my L@ balance through my dashboard while i am out of world and see a linden grant of L$1250 made today.. What would this be? and why would i receive it? i have had no email notification so far. Sure it's nice to receive...but ummmmm..could it be an error? How do i find out where it came from and why? No I'm not in the role as owner...but am managing the group in his (the owner/s) indefinite absence...BUT if he closes his SL account ...will the group disappear???And the land in question is my land .. not his...i bought it...but have set it to his group... thanks for your help ...cheers

Hello my former partner created a group that many of our friends have joined as well as many of our assets are set to this group.... He is locked down in RL indefinitely and may have to close his SL account altogether....soooo...what happens to our group and anything that is set to it,...namely land...possessions??? will they be okay...or should I go around and re-set all possessions and my land (that I bought myself after he left) to no group or a new group???? Please advise THANK YOUUUU :)

HIya I became Premium member and claimed my free Linden Home...BUT....i can't seem to see "About land" to see how many prims ive used up...etc... plus i can't set any audio (i,e, radio station) for it!?? Is this NOT possible as I don't own the house and land??? Please advise someone ?? THANK YOUUUU

Am i able to send lindens to someone as a gift when i am NOT in-world??? or do i HAVE to wait until I am online in SL before I can?? helps!!

Hello there peeps I've been having probs with a former friend...stirring up trouble and spreadin lies etc..and now my new boyfriend, who has also unfriended her because she was hassling him through IMs, has had notifcation that she is 'following' him through the sl profile option. ..like she is stalking him. So he has muted/blocked her....so will she STILL be able to follow him at all now??? Will she still be able to see his profile if he has it open access to Everybody or Second Life???? I look forward to your advice/suggestions.

OKIES thanx for that!! cool but NOW i have further question ... I thought i would enter my name in sl search and see what actually came up in the results and WHOA!! i found someone on 7 Oct who had very very similar name to me (i,e, i WAS "Lola Gem" ..this new avi/profile is "LolaGem") no other details, only birthdate of 6 Oct 2011 (i think it was)..totally blank profile. ALARM BELLS went off, so i clicked 'FOLLOW", and then proceeded to change my display name to "Lola G". left a polite message of "cool name". No other repsonse etc so far. I was just very suspicious of someone 'posing' (?) as me...hence i changed my display name. I check this profile maybe once a week...just to see if anything is added or changes. Am I being overly susss....?? or paranoid??? Any suggestions?? Just carry on as I am? Cheers

okay i see now that we can send messages thru our SL profile...umm so would these be totally private and seen ONLY by ther person (s) that I send it to??? It won't be seen on my profile feed OR theirs???? yes / no ??

I'll say Renate - i agree - it would be nice once in a while to go online and not have any IMs or group notices for as long as I want just now and then ... to have the option would be great. Cos u know if you hide from certain ppl and ur in the same group they can see if ur online if u open the same chat window .. like "oopss bustedddd" lmao. But i agree with u - good point

AND are they able to post comments on my SL profile feed? I upgraded my SL 2 viewer last week and had probs with graphcs. Have been told to install an older version (the previous one) but cant seem to find a way to find it.. Does anyone have a link to the previouis version?? cheers guys :)

14/7/11 Hmmm cant see to find the previous version of SL2 viewer let alone download it :( anyone got a link to the previous version??? :) About 12 hours ago i received a notification im that SL2 viewer had an upgrade etc did i want install later or install now - shut down sl etc etc i did click to install and it went thru the motions and when i logged back in my apartment looks all different - and my hair is all out of whack (e.g. looks like i have straw coming out of my head in places (but the straw looks like bits of my apartments wallpaper???) plus when i went to my fav place on the beach all the sand is now grass?? but noone else there can see grass. my hair and eyelashes look weird to me and sometmes i seem to have cat ears?? or somethin like it???wtf? should i uninstall sl 2 altogether and then reinstall? hellllp thanx guys :)

Ive been having probs trying to accesss the Destination Guide (inworld). When i click on the icon on righthand tab all i get coming up is HOME and the box is blank of anything else. The same appears to be the same for when i click on Search and try to enter place names etc (this is in SL2 viewer). I can also run Phoenix (installed it last week) but am not familiar with its layout as yet. Have i clicked something i shouldn't have in Preferences or somewhere else for this to be happening?? cheers peepz :matte-motes-big-grin-squint:
