Thank you again Madelaine, I am in fact using Internet Explorer, only because this laptop completely freezes up and have no choice but to hard crash it and reboot everything up again when I use anything else like AOL, Google, and Chrome, I guess I have no other choice but to try Firefox then..., well here goes nothing

Hi Madelaine, thank you for your question, yes, I did make sure that all the images were saved thru the windows edit program as png and even jpg twice, I even sent a friend the same images and she was able to upload on her marketplace, then sent it back to me thru emails exactly the same, but for some reason, every time I try to upload any image in any format, the marketplace gives me an error that says it is not compatible with the accepted formats of png and jpg. even in the individual images on my hard drive when I click on properties, they say they ARE : Format Type: jpg file (or png file). I am completely at a loss, the only thing I can think of is maybe the uploads are encrypted somehow?

I have the same laptop and windows 7, but this one seems to not be able to upload images to the marketplace, either banner or content images, even tho they are the correct size and format, the error keeps saying, unable to upload because image is not of correct format, but it is, i've checked every which way possible in properties, pictures, even named the images with ending tags .png or .jpg, can someone please help, thank you

never had problem buying lindens before, including today, but now its saying "can't authenticate you" and sent me to here. can someone please help? Thank you, i had to go to sl website and re enter my password to buy the lindens, but it did work, thanks again :)
