Yes a private and wondered basically if there was any role other then estate manager that can do that and, of course, I do NOT want just anyone to do a restart - but if I'm not there and something happens - just wanted a back up. And, yes, I KNOW the answer but sometimes ppl have found ways around some of it.

Can anyone else other then the sim owner or an estate manager restart a sim?

Thank you. Exactly what I thought. For me it is a personal issue that he has brought to my sim and for the safety and good of my sim, I simply cannot deal with it - he either gets it resolved or he's out if banning on his level, muting/ ejecting isn't working. My ban list would grow off of this one person considerably and never end. Thanks

I have a parcel that is being rented by a club owner. He has a person that he was involved with in RL & SL that is now coming on my sim and harassing him. He has put them on ban list for his aprcel. Natural he wants me to ban this person and all the alts she has created. What is the real solution to this? I can ban until the cows come in but this person obviously is pretty smart already since there are 5 other alts. Nothing is topping this person from contacting the ppl on his group list or ppl that attend his club - I have a quiet peaceful sim and I do not want this to affect my sim in a negative way or the other ppl who are good tenants. What is the real solution? Filing reports with LL never seem to help.

On Sunday I made a purchase on my sim from a vendor that has their art. The payment was taken out of my acct, however my % did not go into my acct nor did I get the product. (my artists use a split consignment in lieu of rent) - I tested it again on Monday same thing and with another artist vendor on my sim - again same thing. I'm having all my consignment artists check and test. So far three are affected. We are going to have them replace with a good script. Any ideas if rolling restarts or the new coding changes can affect this?

This is getting beyond irritating - I will log into my dashboard and cannot post to events, nor can I sell lindens - am I being punished? Straight answers and not vague responses.

I have had the same issues also - and now I find there are days on end when I cannot post on events nor see my groups or be able to sell my Lindens - what gives!!!!

I discovered the key to the mystery. The TOS is accurate but one detail is left out you must list your parcel/sim in the search at $L 30 per week. This tenant was not - unfortunately I explained then there is nothing I can do as a SIM owner to change the rules. Since I list all of my parcels that belong directly to me on Romany I'm listed in search - to me this is a no brainer - if you want new traffic you pop for the $L 30 per week.

but both are owners of the parcels on my SIM. When I simply owned a parcel (before I became an owner) I could post - has LL changed the rules? And how does one create a Hang Out according to TOS rules for events?

Yes they do and that is what is so frustrating .

I have parcerl owners on my sim (I am the owner) who cannot post their events on SL events website board. They definitely have the right perms or at least I set them up correctly. Why can they not post?

for the last few days I cannot access the Events Board, cannot buy or sell Lindens from the SL website, my friends & groups list do not show. What is the problem?

But I am the SIM OWNER - I have granted HIM the Estate Manger permissions and his role show that he can do this the Region is Romany and he is em for the region and I am owner. The parcels that we have (which are not residential ) are all Romany Group parcel and he wears his Romany tag as EM - am I not understanding what you are explaining? Thank for you response - we have chatted with other ems and have the same situation and they do not have issues. We are frustrated.

We have tried to resolves this before and still are stumped. I am the owner of the SIM which is divided into parcels - I have an estate manager and he is still unable to use the perms given him including the simple task of changing the stream on a parcel. What are we doing wrong?

Yup yup yup - we know all that - his perms show that he has the ability and YET he cannot do it. He has tag on - is this a glitch or????

I AM the owner and the person we are trying to have do more things is my estate manager. The perms are selected but he still cannot change roles or delete roles.

Yes he is my estate manager - but we have set, saved, he wears his tag and still cannot.

I am the owner of my SIM. I have an estate manager who has full perms - why can he not edit roles, create or delete? I am frustrated. And now in addition to this ongoing issue, I assign my live entertainers the perms to change music so they can drop their stream in on the parcel - and nope - won't work. What are we doing wrong?

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU - she knew exactly what she was doing. I read her profile after the incident and being nude wherever she goes is what she does. She is trying to prove a point but NOT on my sim. One individual (a so called friend) said well I should have something posted. Both of you have given me confirmation of what I already knew. Thank you again. Commonsense is often lacking. She is free to do her "thing" but not on my sim.

I have an M rated sim and someone dropped into a poetry reading totally nude and when they were asked via an IM to please put on clothing, they became irrate. Do I have to post a no nudity allowed sign?

I recently took over a SIM (in January), the payment date for the Tier just hits wrong for my fixed income. Is there a way (even if I have to pay fees) to get that date changed?
