Geez, my friend messaged me about this in their store so I went to check mine and soooo many things are gone. In the majority of my builds, only the demo listings remain. The actual buildings themselves are gone. I have been living with the nightmare of the current MP without complaint but when my items are just gone, then there's a massive problem. They have to get this stuff sorted. That's a lot of lost linden.

Whelp. The more I researched, the more it actually did make more sense to just buy from LL. I just caught what you said, Katherine, about the setup fee including the first month's tier. D'oh! So yeah, this is kind of a no-brainer. Which just goes to show that I have even less than no brain haha. I'm setting my Alexa to remind me to buy a sim on June 4th, my grandma's birthday! Thanks for letting me bounce stuff off you though. Noob or not, it's just nice to have a friendly word while doing this lol. Oh, I'm an old soul in SL. I've been here a while and know quite a bit. Except for this. I've only ever rented sims, etc. I've rented anywhere from 512 sqm to a full sim but owning is a whole other kettle of fish. It's a commitment. Renting you can move if you don't like your neighbor after 30 seconds lol. I honestly don't know why I held out owning a sim. With as many building projects as I do, having 20/30k prims would have made life a lot easier! Which is exactly what pushed me to finally buy. So....crossing my fingers that this goes ok! Oh, one thing I did find out is that when you put in for the transfer, the buyer can request a new name and location change with the transfer request with no additional charges for that. At least that is my understanding from reading in the knowledge base. Gosh, I hope so! As for showing weird skin things with certain mesh? THAT is so freaking annoying! Hi Katherine! Thanks for responding to me. I really appreciate any help that I can get. I guess the reason I wanted to go the resident-to-resident sim purchase route is that the transfer is only $100 versus the $349 new sim setup fee with LL. I know that the price of the sim is related to what the seller is willing to sell it for. But I'm really hoping on the kindness of strangers (very naive and wishful thinking I know lol) and that I can find someone that is reasonable and the sale price of their sim will be well under $250 to purchase it on top of the $100 transfer fee. Did I get that right or is it more than I thought? Sometimes this is so confusing lol. Please let me know. Thanks! ♥

Ok, so I've only had rental experience in SL so far, but I feel like I'm finally ready to dip my toe into the role of sim owner. 🫢*Gulps* I am looking for a 20k or 30k private region that is not grandfathered (I had to look that one up lol). I don't have much to purchase the land with, so I humbly beg of you to be honest and reasonable about your selling price. I am hoping for a tier due date sometime during the first week of June. For some that can afford this discount, but it's priced out of my range and I'm sure others feel the same. For someone like me it's just not even possible. I had to scrimp to pay for PP alone. So I feel a lot of people have the perk but can't really use it. Edit: I'm not whining about owning a FREE homestead. I also said discounted. I think you're missing the point. In the Lab Gab Youtube video they said they wanted to help make owning a homestead more accessible because of the hard times everyone is having. It may help for some. But it really isn't a perk for all and it's definitely not more accessible. Also, I DID join PP in hopes of additional perks. They said as much. So get off your high horse and look at this from others perspectives and not call us whiners for wanting value for our hard earned money.

I'm sorry, but when I saw the image that said "Homesteads for Premium Plus" I got my hopes up and was hoping for either a homestead or a reduced price on a homestead. The graphic is very misleading. I would love to own a homestead outright but seriously? I already paid $250 USD for Premium Plus. Sure some of the perks are great but I'm sorry all in all they really aren't comparable to what you should be getting for that amount of money. Things are tight now for everyone. I've had to cut my spending in SL drastically because of it. So I definitely can't afford an additional $100 USD a month. This isn't even tempting and I honestly don't feel I'll ever use this "perk". Sorry if I come off sounding entitled but we do pay for this. A lot.

Thank you so much! That did the trick. I had to talk the agent into it though. They initially told me to abandon the home and redo it. I told them I had waited a few days to get this one, Grayson Home, and I wanted to keep that theme. Restarted my sim and bingo, worked. I did try the crtl and click on the panel, Charlotte, but it didn't make any difference. Still had the pop up. Thanks for your help though.

I cannot access my new Linden Home Control Panel. I keep getting this error, " Whoops!There was an error in processing your selection or the house is not responding. Please click again on the house control panel inworld or try again later." I've tried accessing via my viewer inworld and in my two other browsers, Firefox and Chrome, and both result in the same error. What can I do to get this to work correctly.?
