  1. If you goto http://www.blender.org/ you can download a free 3rd party software which will allow you to create a custom avatar modelling and texturing. Here is a great place to start to learn about mesh creation http://blog.machinimatrix.org/3d-creation/blender-meshes-trail/meshes-overview/ There is a lot to learn when it comes to 3d modelling, if you have no experience in this it will take a lot of time. Please be advised that if you do create a custom avatar, all clothing and attachments, especially texturing will have to be done using the UV unwrapping layout you achieve... basically, it will also have to be done by yourself, a friend or comissioned to someone else. It is not exactly a simple process to create an amazing custom avatar, in essence you are talking about several days or weeks of work for a professional to create one custom avatar with an outfit. It is a full 3d model textured. If it is not humanoid, then an outside animator such as poser might be required and this takes even more expertise and time. If you decide to go down this path it may be a lot of fun and a great experience, but it wont exactly be painless, there is a lot of dedication that comes with excellent content creation! -Kiwe
  2. Not 100% sure what's going on with your mesh. Usually the mesh being created can be parented to the avatar base shape and then weighted using bone heat. From there its a straight upload and it works. If you are playing with the avatar bones etc in blender, it may not be compatible on importing, though never tried doing this so cant say for sure! From tutorials seen, the avatar is always in the default size and default position. Playing with the position of the bones might be better accomplished in a 3rd party animator such as poser after the model is made. -Kiwe
  3. Janfu, By the looks of it you have insufficient L$ to pay for the upload! Are the funds available to pay for the upload cost?
  4. You're welcome, glad to hear it's working again! The sim your parcel is on probably needs a server restart by the sim owner. This happens sometimes ^ ^
  5. Sometimes the servers hiccup and will give you this message. Typically, you could wait a few minutes and try again or you can teleport to another sim which is running smoothly and upload from there! Hope that helps! ^ ^
  6. Also finished tutorial and both payment and tutorial are green, but still isnt marked as registered, just mentions registering is easy. Already received a note saying to upload mesh but unable. Currently using V3.03, can this viewer upload mesh? Cannot find mesh under build>upload>model... model is not there! Please help and thanks!
