Are you using the Beta version of Catzip 14.x or still on 13.x? I would swap over to the beta. The beta version makes use of the updated profile changes from LL.

I just got back to SL after like a 9 year break, so I consider myself a born again noob. In nearly 2 months my Inventory is at 9,000 Items. I've started sorting things into folders and managed to categorize all clothing and avatar body related items. What I'm really struggling to categorize is my objects folder. How do people organize all of their objects ? So far I have vehicles / weapons / animals folders/ zooby /Holdables ... but since I started getting decor items I'm lost. How do people have their objects folder categorized ? Also I purchased a CTS wardrobe which seems like a brilliant idea in theory but will probably be a real labor of love to set up. Does anyone have a up and running CTS wardrobe ?
Lots and lots of examples you can look at to see what people have done with Wardrobe. Always happy to answer questions people have on using it, share examples of how people set theirs up, and generally chat all things shopping & inventory. Just give me a shout in world.

I just put up 5 roadside parcels along with several others for sale along Route 9 on Jeogeot. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Haean/157/21/68
Let me know if you have any questions on the land on the forums here as I am not online a lot these days.

With the ability to save custom cam settings I have quite a few. My normal which is MUCH lower than the default, like others mine are tweaks on the settings Penny Patton did. Settings for driving and flying and a birds eye view at clubs etc where I want to be able to see people chatting. Settings for different photograph angles.

This offers absolutely no value for me whatsoever, so I'll stick to regular Premium. I think the 70 group cap is plenty, and any more than that would simply be too overwhelming with "dings" all the time.
I think if LL needs additional revenue, one simple thing they can do that never made any sense to me as to why this rule is in place, is allow residents to purchase their own Homestead region directly from LL without the pre-requisite of having a full region. It costs them nothing to make this change and offers a lot to the residents.
There's a certain sense of security that exists with having a region in your own name, and many simply can't afford a full one. In my near 19 years here, I can't tell you how many times I've been screwed over by a land baron.
I couldn't agree more. In my opinion the ability to purchase a homestead on it's own should be a perk of premium...but I would take it as a perk of premium plus.

my initial thoughts are, I am not sure who this is for exactly and how it brings any significant value over simply having more than one premium. Sure if there are large Linden homes that is potentially interesting, and some people will want them but as a value overall I think it is lacking.
At the price point I think it should be 4096 land minimum. There is sooooo much open mainland you might as well use it. On that, make it so premium plus members pay 50% less to buy mainland from LL when grabbing up those abandoned spots. More groups is nice for some, but really the number included is just kind of silly. The stipend is fine, and has always been one of the best value propositions for premium paid annually, but as shown above has very little difference over the double premium. Message cap increase is silly, this is a communication platform that should be a core feature. Group fee reduction? How many groups are people creating in a year? If i was creating 100 groups a year maybe, but I would be likely to save maybe 180 L$ per year on that one.
In my opinion they missed the mark on this one and should head back into conference and talk it through again. I will wait for the final package and official announcement, but I will not buy this and would generally advise against it as it currently stands.

Yeah I like the arms and thighs but breasts is just a step too far for me!
Kupra did something similar with a few tops earlier this year.

i think they are fun. Is the squish realistic, maybe not, but I think it needs to be a little exaggerated to be seen. The lack of blood flow in all avatars makes wearing these as safe as walking around bare foot with high foot mode on all day. SL has always had and will always have body modifications like this and other things. Once the bodies are updated on arms and legs it sounds like squishy boobs will be the next endeavor. Looking forward to that too.

I am heading out to Indianapolis in August to attend this years GENCON game convention and thought I would put together a group for others that might be attending to chat about games and such in advance of the convention and possibly arrange an SL in RL meetup in Indianapolis one evening. If you are heading to Indy this year please feel free to join the group.

If people are interested in CTS Wardrobe and have questions about what it is or how it works I am happy to chat with you about it. If you have CTS Wardrobe and are struggling to get it to work have questions about how to use it etc I might be able to put together a class if there is some interest.

I would try to attend gamer hangouts. I play mostly MMOs, but can chat about most games.

I love the railroads and would love to see more prioritization to getting rail lines built. They are an awesome way to explore and unwind.

I have a 1024 m2 roadside parcel for sale at 1024 L$ as well as an ajoining1488 parcel (behind not roadside) also for just L$ 1.0.

I still firmly believe that a 10k region, or the ability to own a homestead without a full region would result in more individuals buying land. The big advantage is that they are transacted directly in USD and that is a huge savings on in world L$ transactions. I still hope to see this one day.

That whole situation saddens me. I cancelled my sub, cancelled my D2 preorder, and am playing GW2 now until Blizz gets their crap together. They are currently fixing things in games to appease people when they should be focusing more on their actual employees. That whole thing just….annoys me. No king reigns forever.
Sorry I got the topic off track but I needed to say that. Carry on.
Just keep with GW2... : ) (biased)

IMHO. MFA should be transactional and not tied to where you are or a specific time. When you need to do something that requires a login you should use your token, always. The issue I think today, is that so many things on the dashboard currently do not require that login so they are using some time related thing to be the key to re-ask. It is an early implementation, I am sure it can be improved on.

These are the current problems that I see - not sure if LL considers them issues or not, so will open a JIRA to confirm.
I can close the tab; leave it closed for a bit; open a new tab; go back to my Dashboard and I can still get to all financial pages without needing a new token.
I can leave the tab open all night and on the next day the token has not expired and I can still get to all financial pages.
No token required to Buy L$ or to get to my LindeX Order History.
I have noticed the same thing. The current authentication time out is way too long and does not apply adequately to enough pages. If you can get a session that's open it seems that you can even change your password without having to confirm through your token. I am planning to add Jira as well.

And just who gave "industry" the right to control how we do things? I don't recall seeing Industry on any ballot papers. I'm pretty sure Tim Berners-Lee didn't have the profits of mobile phone companies in mind when he created the web. The way forward is not compliance with what industry wants, we've seen what sort of idiots we end up with in politics going down that road, the way forward is revolution, Greta Thunberg showed us that.
Go back over the past year and read about Solar Winds. Read about the issues that arose out of that with Microsoft Exchange. Then go and read about all of the recent ransomware attacks. That is what MFA is meant to help prevent. It also helps to prevent your account from being compromised through phishing or in some cases carelessness. You might think your account isn't one people are after, but getting your account in one place actually is important. So many people don't use MFA across all accounts but do use exceedingly similar or weak passwords across accounts that it opens up the possibility when getting one account they can get more and more. Ask anyone that had their identity stolen, or fell victim to their account being compromised from a data leak. Once bad actors find a way in they will search for the paths of least resistance to find more. I know this isn't something most people think about, but it is something everyone should be doing for all of their online accounts.

Bad mfa implementation. This why i hate it. Because the force you to use a smartphone. Something that's never in range. The need to implement e-mail version. Or just not implement it. 2fa is only made to annoy users. If you use your brains 2fa is nit needed to. Never did feel i need it.
Just reading, and that's a big security risk, never use the build in sl web browser ! It's less secure and less control. Also a tiny font.
Maybe if everyone had MFA on their email that would be a good option. Something you know, something you have in your possession. A token, a phone call, a prompt on a phone, your fingerprint, your face. Email, text messages etc are not always in your possession.

In my personal opinion there is zero reason not to do this. None. Not just on Second Life but for every single service you access online. Your mail, your bank, Facebook, other games you play, all of them. If you have an account with a log in you should be using a strong, wholly unique password for each account and a form of second authentication when it is offered. This form of security is simply an essential part of being online these days.

The same idea in the video works on a small parcel or a full region. It does take a bit of practice. Feel free to give me a shout in world, can try to help

I have my new bag and I am ready for a little weekend shopping. The outfit is the Cream Pants and Whipped Top from Neve and the hair is the Tiramisu Hair by Wasabi all from this round of Uber. I paired it up with this cute cow themed bag from Bondi which is at this months Warehouse Sale.
