  1. Was wondering if anyone can help me ..... I make mesh eyes and now I would also like to make them for Lelutka. I have the dev kit but unfortunately, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it working. I do other appliers with no problem. Maybe someone out there that does Lelutka Eyes and can tell me how to use teh scripts properly?

I also googled and searched the web page of the creator but cannot find anything about eye appliers. Help highly appreciated :)

I am not asking how to make the HUD, I just need to know what script goes where and how I get to actually add the texture for the eye.

  2. Can anyone point me in the right direction of how to make a HUD to nudge mesh eyes into correct position, like up, down, left, right, bring forward, put back, that sort of thing?

    Help highly appreciated :)

One other question -- what picture format are you saving the pictures as for uploading (bmp, jpeg, tga, png)?

    PNG

    Darling avatar in LittleMe's screenshot!

After you resize your photo to 1024 x 512 do you SHARPEN IT SOMEHOW?  When you resize in a graphics program (at least all the ones I have used) the pixels get rearranged (possibly MORE if you are not taking your PHOTO at a multiple of your finished textures - seems likely). You then need to sharpen them before upload.

I frequently use "unsharp mask" since that function has settings I can apply. You can also set parameters within your resizing window (hopefully) that let you define the sharpness.  You can, if these other methods aren't available, just use "sharpen" which I think most ALL graphics programs have.

You also need to export in a lossless format. Most folks use png.  Your graphic WILL look more blurry inworld. Guaranteed>

The other thing that the photos you admire might have in common is shooting the photo at   higher resolution. I shoot at 6000 pixels which is FOUR TIMES what you shoot at. Others use even larger  settings.

IF you paste into a template, check and see what the resolution is on your template file. Mine are set at 300.

Note that MOST folks will not be zooming into  vendors (many can't do that or  just don't) so while high rez vendor photos are great (and often required) for events, they will make vendor photos load slower (this not at the OP, just the general readership) :D.

I used teh same size again and tried 600 DPI and its already much sharper ... never ever had to use 600 DPI before lol, anyway, will give it another few tries, thank you all :)

  4. Yes, I have, both show the same problem :( I have noticed this problem for ages now so it must be me as there has been a new installment and new PC in the meantime :) I did get that right, it MUST be power of 2 right? I mean I cant have like 617 x 439 px?

  5. I am totally baffled with this problem. For my vendors, I am taking shots inworld at a size of 3000 x 1556 px. I then scale them into a 1024 x 512 px image frame I preapred in photoshop.

Every time I look at the picture inword, its kind of blurry. When I look at other vendors of people's inworld store, I can zoom into the moon and still see a razor sharp image ..... for the love of me ..... what am I doing wrong? O.o

P.S. I am very aware of the power of 2 rule :)

  6. How is it possible that a friend can de-render an offsim where he lives but I cannot do the same thing. He can even de-render the offsim on my land. Does it have something to do with settings? Help appreciated :D

  7. I started off with Catwa Catya and then bought Lelutka's Chloe, which I wore for ages on end. I sell shapes and know that I should go out of the box to accommodate everyone's taste but I have to be honest in saying that I just love "the girl next door" type of shape. Cute, sexy, sophisticated and pretty. I am not into heavy makeups myself unless I am making something really "dark" ... so today I got the 4 new Lelutka heads and have been sliding for hours now but not really a happy chappy here. None of my former Lelutka lipsticks fit any of the lips ... bit of a perfectionist here .... and the Lelutka skins I already have look ....... terrible, so I am having trouble considering buying the heads to make new shapes. With that said I am working on Greer now and really really like her but I have to consider if I want to spend $ on all new makeup and skins for this head. Hereafter a sample of Greer using the Glam Affair skins from the demo head and another I use a lot on other Lelutka heads:

Needless to say I am not liking it at all so I think I'll refrain from Making new shapes with the new heads for right now

Hmm ... can't seem to find out how to insert images directly :(

  8. I would like to make shapes and have gathered this info so far:

NEW BODY PARTS > NEW SHAPE ... adjust sliders to my liking ... save as "whatever" ... wear new shape and I should be the creator.

Problem is: when I go to set permissions, the owner is the person that actually made the head I am wearing. What am I doing wrong?

Is there a free eyebrow shape I can add to the Bento shapes I want to sell? Don't really want to get in to painting those in Photoshop. Help appreciated :)

  9. Have another question I didn't quite understand from video. I have an item that is 2 objects, the item and it's HUD. If I right-click and copy to MP Listing, both items go into the STOCK folder and stock says 2. I don't think this is correct, NO? Doesn't that mean there are 2 times 2 objects?
