I'm in the process of learning Maya (tutorials) and while I'm currently going through the NURBS I have some questions relating to NURBS sculpted for sl. Can I use curves or just the cylinder, sphere and torus? I've been reading on this forum that I shouldn't use loft or extrude, is that true? And that I shouldn't cut the surface e.g. cut the bottom half of a cylinder, delete it and only export the top half into sl. Could someone please clarify what I can and can't do in terms of nurbs and exporting to sl?
