Any time I click on my land to rezz something or search for something, instead of it showing the parcel lines, it shows a big yellow box around my parcel, I have no clue how I managed to get it that way but it's driving me nuts and I don't know how to fix it back to just showing yellow lines . How can I get my avatar to stop gliding and start walking?

I rented an apartment and I am wondering how to rezz my furniture. Every time I try, it tells me that the owner doesn't allow it. How do I fix this? Thank you.

I had to go back to using an older version of SL and can't use one of my avatars because she only has one name, how do I fix this, besides getting a newer viewer?

I've done everything that has been suggested to me to try to get back on to Second Life. I've cleaned my computer, updated my drivers, changed the time, uninstalled, reinstalled, installed different viewers, third party viewers, tried logging in to different regions, disconnected and reconnected modems and routers. Called my ISP and had them reset everything, got a new internet address. Nothing has worked, I have read and reread everything that I can find on trying to fix this problem, still with no results. Can someone please help me, I miss playing second life, I have met friends on here and spent a lot of time improving my avatar and her home. I would like to continue to play. I even downloaded second life on my daughters pc and it does the same thing, when it gets to the region handshake it will go no further. I would appreciate more input on this. Thank you in advance. I forgot to add that I did reconfigure my firewall. And when I try to log on it gets to the region handshake and then a window pops up and tells me that we are having trouble connecting, check internet connection, second life support portal or click to teleport home.I have done everything I know to do. Please help.

I am having trouble logging in, my internet connection is fine, have checked it several times. Was wondering if you can log in to a different server.

After the region handshake fails it tells me that we are having trouble connecting. There may be a problem with your internet connection or the Second Life Grid. Tells me to check my internet connection and try again, or to check the Second Life Support Portal. I have done both and my internet connection is fine. The Second Life Support Portal said it was having restarts. This has been going on with me for two days now. I can log on sometimes but after a few minutes it logs me off again with the same message.
