At least on my private grid, item are very similar to the current technologyfrom Second Life. But of course, they are bound to fail, unless Second Life takes a nose dive and burns.

I have it set as you said, with the control script in the left prim as the root. Should it be in both?

They are all based off of Second Life's engine, just a different grid and different companies behind them
