After the last patch update I found that I was unable to connect to the voice chat servers. Additionally, I am getting a "403 Forbidden" error message when I try to access the voice server webpage. I have followed all the fixes on the FAQ, including modifying my firewall, disabling the firewall, etc. I have restarted my computer and SL after, I even uninstalled and reinstalled the program to make sure it wasn't a folder issue. I am on a two person network in my home, and I am starting to wonder if this is what is the problem (although I am not sure what changed from the Moday that it worked to the Thursday that it didn't). Keep in mind, I am neither a computer programmer nor well versed on programming languages, but I need voice to do my job as a tutor on SL. That being stated, I have seen the wiki page on how to fix network issues, but I do not know how to follow the steps (as they are written for the above average computer intelligence SL user).
