    How can I find someone on my friendslist if their map location is off?

    To quote Robert Redford character (Nathan Muir) from "Spy Game": Technology gets better everyday. That's fine. But most of the time all you need is a stick of gum, a pocket knife and a smile.

    You'll find a way. Maybe work on your assets. They might help you. Just be careful you are not being used by them as an asset.

    This is not meant for the thread of how does your avatar look today. It looks fine, a tad under the weather, but will survive.

    I'm hoping someone will recognize this set piece, consists of a ladder, a hanging sheet in a box. I may have accidentally deleted it (or forgot its name) and where I purchased it (to ask for a redelivery).

    I'm not posting for advertising reasons, just want to get the pose stand (it can be called that). Any help would be appreciated.

    Here is some sage advise: Don't be choosing names that can come back and bite you later.

    Looking at your profile, I see you have been on the grid since late January. Sensing you probably haven't invested a large amount of money here, consider making a new avatar and giving it a name that is more acceptable.

    Put the bong down and do this:

    Figure about 10,000L$ (maybe $20US $40US) will be needed to get a decent head and body, decent being relative. Look around and find what fits you to your liking. Prices and mileage may vary. Granted, mesh heads and bodies are not cheap in price, but in the long run, they do add some prestige and ability to wear mesh clothing.

    Baked on Mesh is another matter. Worry of it when you get what you are looking for.

    Market buy is buying NOW. Limit buying is placing what you are speculating what the price could be. My advice: Do instant buy and avoid the waiting game with limit buying. You may not ever get what you are speculating.

    AR the offenses, don't embellish. Include any chat in the report.

    In the meantime, find new areas to hang out at. Stop going to regions this person knows you like to frequent. If he/she tries to contact you, mute/block. Under any condition, don't respond to this person if you have muted or blocked. Answering will undo any protection you placed.

    If you haven't been here too long and haven't spent a lot of time and money in your avi, consider making a new one. You can always fall back onto your original avi down the road. If you do make a new alt, don't tell anyone for now.

    Correcting name from Mike to Kevin. No idea where I got Mike.

    I heard from him while at the SL17 shopping extravaganza. I just ignored him.

    Few days later I heard from him while shopping at Blueberry. I checked who was nearby, to see if he was on sim (he was) and IM'ed back about getting the same message a few days earlier WORD FOR WORD. No response, so I sent him a sweet good bye (starts with f and ends with off). Message said he signed out.

    EDIT: The name used was Kevin528 and Kevin894. SOB gets around.

    Just mute and blacklist for now if you get another beg from this Einstein.

    **I have the chat on my desktop if needed. I'm here now on my lappy.
