I totally agree, Cheval. I came into Second Life a few months ago with high hopes of meeting lots of people and establishing solid friendships. Unfortunately, as everyone else has said...there are liars everywhere! After having been used and abused, my initial expectations were crushed. I will be much more careful who I chat to in Second Life, in the future.

I use prepaid Mastercards and suffered this same problem. I queried Linden and was told they didnt actually accept the prepaid cards and that I was lucky they had been working for me. I could not resolve it no matter what, so i created another avi to take the payment system for me. Now when one doesnt work, I use the other account to recharge and then transfer the Linden dollars to my main one.
