nothing seems to work. I uninstalled everything then tried the official viewer, pheonix and the development version. This is absolutely retarded

Thank you both for your help. I will try some of the items from teh link that was posted and the reinstall. It is just driving me nuts that it is something so simple. Not really that surprising from Linden Labs

If I try any viewer on the mac (official,pheonix,etc) When I get to the part where it wants me to agree to the terms of service I am never able to check the box. It seems to work in windows and I havent tried in linux. I cannot find anything via google for this problem. Any helop would be appreciated
