  1. It maybe easier to make it yourself . Buy a modifiable pillow ...and that animation in a poseball. Position your pose ball on the pillow itself and voila your own pillow with pop corn eating animation.

I wasnt having a go at anyone all I was looking for was an explanation and justification for the action. I didnt understand that there were rules like this. In future I will obey the rules. Belated welcome to Second Life, Anthony! AS with everyone else (I think) the first few months of SL is about experimenting with yourself and fitting yourself into the crowd. Be a spider if you want and take all the good and bad experiences you get as a lesson in your SL life. Understand that there are people with strong opinions about everything and you wonder why they haven't collapsed and died with heart attack with all the stress they put unto themselves. In Second Life you can name yourself a human name and be a furry/spider or you can take your name from an animal but have human avatar that behaves like an animal...the possibilities are endless.
  3. I have a feeling that Anthony is not airing his problem but rather seeking for a justification. Being an Anime, I am often being ridiculed by human avatars for not wanting to be 'normal'. I see no difference between him telling us his issue than a slave asking if it is alright to cheat on her friend's master. .
  4. Oh Griffin, Just let her pay you ... obviously she didn't get the point the frist time.
  5. blaze Sion wrote : my response... I can not believe that because my account is free they will only fix it if i pay. Is this how they plan on getting rid of free accounts? The answer will be 'Of Course!' ... LL isn't exactly Britian or Canada where people worked hard to compensate for their taxes so poetic hobos and artistic vagabond on the street can have Xanax for free. LL is a company for profit... They're getting profits from people who does pay for the premiums. Yes, you are a premium member from another account, so am I... but every avatars cost money and maintenance. LL announced Fee per Service not too long ago and it was heatedly discussed in the old forums. In the end, people just need to realise every single issues you have with your avatar requires times and effort from someone... and that someone isn't your local volunteer at Help Island. We complained about Ontyne of how ridiculous they were, not to mention their rudeness... so LL got rid of them and brought in Scouts, and along with Scouts, the new rules of paying members. Frankly, people should start paying for every single avatars they created but nothing as ridiculous as $10 per-setup. Perhaps $2 per avatar. Or at least 3 avatars per billing account before they start charging. Anyway, I do feel sorry for you. Perhaps you could file in a ticket using another paying avatar about your issue. Scouts is really just a help desk greeter... what you really want is to get hold of the Lindens and see if they can do something about it. Wish you the best of lucks.
  6. /me thinking that this kid makes sense... :smileyhappy:. Thank you Darren, much appreciated. @Sonja: Perhaps I should brush on my readings regarding car parts so the chat would be more entertaining on his part.
  7. @PeeWee and Wildcat: How about Collar and a leash that i can use to take him out while he rides his pogo stick? I mean how many subs walking about with pogo sticks?

For a moment there I thought you wrote 'land' as 'hand' ... must be the late night snacks I've been eating... but thanks.. I think the sculpty maps might be a good idea.. I'm sure he digs on those things. @Randall: He said 'No Sharing' !
  9. @ Wildcat & Valerie: I'm thinking of the more manly man gifts.. if possible none sexual. We are doing good pretty much on our own with that .. lol... but I was wondering something more useful that doesn't require a partner to make it work.. ). And NO! I know what some of you guys will say... I am not ever going to buy him a blow up doll! lol...
  10. He does have a home where he uses it for building stuff. A picture frame would be a nice idea... Its just that we only just started and I don't want to be ALL over him..
  11. New Car? hehe.. you know he actually builds automotive parts in SL... I am pretty sure he's got cars in his inventory.
  12. I've been going out with this guy for a few days. He, so far has been a wonderful man a girl could have. He is a content creator and he owns his own texture shop. He is also a true gentleman as far as poseballs allows him to be. He is polite, mature and pretty much down to earth unassuming man. He is also quite passionate. Now with all the little bit of info above, I'd like to know if there are something that I could buy (I have no idea how to create stuff beyond rezzing a box and make the color red) as a gift for this man? I'd like a gift that would be useful for him at the same time will occupy his thought of me. I can't keep buying clothes because this guy obviously knows his fashion. Would anyone help please? I mean, guys, beside sex beds or love couch and rugs and fractals and barns .. you know.. what else that a girl could give to you, to make you really appreciate her gesture or made you jump up and down like a 5 year old?
  13. I look like this in Real Life... giggles...
  14. I'm a hobo by choice. I have been rezzing in sandboxes and changing my clothes underneath the sea. Lately, I have been looking at places where they would let a poor wandering avatar to stay for as little as L50 per week and I came across this hotel. The owner was kind enough to provide rooms/houses which are quite spatial and will decorate it to your specification and needs... ALL FOR FREE. I did not even see a donation tip or jars anywhere. I had the chance to ask the owner what motivates him to do such a kind act for strangers? He said he wanted to provide for those who are creative but cannot afford to enjoy Second Life like most of us. He offered to decorate a room for me since I'm homeless myself but I felt it was very unfair for newbies and less fortunate residents that really cannot afford to pay for a rent, so I declined. But his deed inspired me to look for places that offers the same kind of generosity as shown by him. I have been compiling list of places in a notecard for the latest freebies and I realized I have not added a land/house/room. Does anyone else knows a place or land where newbies or people with limited income to make a home in SL for free? Below are some snapshots of the place.
  15. Yes, animated badges can be annoying just as much as RL picture in a forum avatar pic.
