Long term Linden Lab employee Yoz LInden (Yoz Grahame) is no longer with Linden Lab. Farewell tweet from Yoz I don't see an explanation yet.

I might be overlooking this already having been posted, but Linden Lab is making a Minecraft clone called Patterns and an iPad tablet app called Creatorverse. http://lindenlab.com/releases/coming-soon-from-linden-lab-creatorverse-and-patterns http://nwn.blogs.com/nwn/2012/09/linden-lab-patterns.html http://nwn.blogs.com/nwn/2012/09/linden-lab-creatorverse-and-patterns.html http://www.sluniverse.com/php/vb/general-sl-discussion/76345-coming-soon-linden-lab-creatorverse.html

Abbotts Aerodrome is closing soon.
ChuckBaggett1488303079 posted a topic in General Discussion Forum
Abbotts Aerodrome, the airport that's been next to Sandbox Cordova for the past 8 years or so, is closing soon, so if you want to see it again or for the first time, best act quickly. It's closing September 1. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Abbotts/160 /148/71 http://secondlife.wikia.com/wiki/Abbotts_Aerodrome -
My old computer that I'm stuck with for the time being doesn't do SSE2 instructions. Any chance that any V2 based viewer, from Ll or 3rd party, will ever work on this old machine?

"Trimming Hedges" is it. I knew there was something "cute" about the name. I suspected the H for the initial of the last name. Somehow my brain had decided the name had something to do the Monopoly board game, which I now conclude was a total fabrication. Mislead by that line of thought, I'd have never have figured it out. "Les White" had a black avatar, and the name "Les White". This struck me as extremely funny.

Captions Game host from 2004 or so
ChuckBaggett1488303079 posted a topic in General Discussion Forum
Who was it that hosted the Captions game back in 2004 or so? Captions was a game where the host displayed a picture and the contestants had to make up captions which were voted on. I remember seeing Cocoanut Koala and Les White there one time. -

Sorry, I don't see how I could not have seen the subscribe option, but apparently I did manage to look at those options several times and not see it. I guess maybe I saw and tried the Subscribe to RSS option first and from then on that was all I could see. I don't know. At any rate, thanks everyone for being so persistent.

If you forget to check the "Email me when someone replies" checkbox when you first post, how do you do it later? I'm not wanting to subscribe to an RSS feed, so the item in Options for subscribing to an RSS feed, which you read with a Feed reader, doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for. Three people have given the same answer, so don't give that answer again.

My memory suggests that Second Life Marketplace was based on some open source ecommerce software. If so what was it? Is there anywhere to see this revealed, such as in the page source of a marketplace page? I read earlier that SLM uses Ruby on Rails. That might well be, but RoR is not an ecommerce program, so I don't think that is the answer I'm looking for.

I find Ray Kurzweil interesting to read about from time to time.
