  1. Do you know what the name of the prim is? If so you can look in your inventory and it will tell you exactly what it is a ttached to. If you need to know the name of the prim right click edit it and look in the general tab the name should be there.
  2. There diffrent leg thickness but you can't resize them. It's rigged mesh you can never resize rigged mesh. IMO the phat azz isn't really an improvment on the original butt. Reason being is it still has that invisible pony rider thing going on. literally everyone I see wearing it has to much space between there legs. If you had legs that thick (more like mine IRL) you're legs would be closer together or touching . The larger leg thickness at least should which is what I see most wearing. As such I'm just not sold on it. If they fixed that issue...maybe.

I don't know. If you use a mesh body than rigged clothes made for regular human avatars will not fit it. Full mesh bodies require special clothes because the regular clothes are rigged to the SL avatar and will 'snap' to that postion and mostly sink into the mesh avatar on top of it. If you found non rigged mesh that you could resize that may work though. However most mesh clothing is rigged. Not 100% true. There are some mesh bodies that take normal rigged mesh clothing. Uti's 2.0 and the anime avatar looked in bare rose take them (avie 2.0 being the cheapest and most popular). They have areas they can hide to make that possible. Still I don't suggest them for a full time avatar as yuou will have to try a demo of EVERY outfit and not all of htem will work maybe 80% due to what areas can or can not be hidden. This will be further limited when you add in looking for mesh clothing that have appliers for mesh boobs.
  4. large hips does not = fatass. Yes some women with large hips are fat granted. All of them? I think not. I geuss you and your fellow students condemned people for being diffrent then you. How charming you all must have been.
  5. lolas have no demo. 0_0 I geuss because there popular your suppose to take it on faith there worth 1750L....I REALLY don't suggest them. As like I said they lack a lot of features newer boobs have.
  6. Korruptive wrote: So, I'm working on pricing my future avatar, and I need a little help on well.. Everything. I don't know whose the best to buy from as far as the anime base is concerned, I already found a few heads that I like.. It's just the base and well.. prim breasts that are difficult for me. Does anyone have any reccomenddations? for a base I suggest just using the LL avatar body. Since most clothing for prim breasts are designed for system layer clothing it will make wearing a mesh (or worse sculpted) body very difficult clothing wise. If you must go mesh for the body I sugget Uti's avei 2.0 it's very cute and has a hud for hiding portions of it's body to accomidate for more clothing. As for prim/mesh boobs I do NOT suggest lolas (not even tangos and yes if you must buy lolas make sure there tangos!) unless you really like there shape. There a bit dated now and don't do what other mesh boobs do. I would suggest demos of the other brands that take tango appliers. Other brands include vstrings, lush, Iboobs, etc. Just make sure you check for tango clothing layer compatibility on them. Your cheapest mesh boobs that are tango compatible are going to be the bbusties. The ones that take the most tango appliers is the Iboobs. As far as knowing what's what and what tango appliers they take I suggest checking this blog. http://www.bigboobiebabes.com/p/what-boobs-do-i-get.html It only lists mesh boobs and thus misses milkmades and mused (naturals?) that also take tangos. so you may wnat research those as well. But it's a good start. EDIT for completely nonsensical word choices....'cause it's to late for me to be up. lol

I'm geussing you have some kinda beef with said resident though and that's the ultimate purpose of this post? Why else bring up that photo? The OP has asked questions about building an avatar showing pictures of wanting a certain hair, clothes, etc. since new to sl. This is nothing new, the OP trying to simulate another resident as far as i see it. The photo *may* have been a try at humor, I have no idea. I agree, the picture does not denote fat. Curves do not equal being fat. I suppose it's just the way it came off then I dunno. I'm assuming she asked in a previous thread those questions as I haven't seen themin this thread. It's just the fat frownty thing seemed somewhat trollish in it's humor. No I think it was baiting. I read all the posts she had made when she was new It's childish. edit: typo okay that I could see. It's sorta in line. Either way I suppose I only said something because it was..not really in line with the rest of the topic? More uncalled for rude IMO.

She will switch back to playing the 'victim' soon enough; perhaps we can even get a view of it in this thread when and if she decides to respond to you. Considering you friends with Pie who claims his fellow SL members are "runts" I can only geuss you do not know the defination of a troll. I have never played the victim. Unless you count my defence of myself when Pie feels the need to troll me and others by calling us stupid in uncalled for ways. If that's being a victim then I geuss I am and I will not be ashamed of it. Your really as bad as Pie frankly (if your not one in the same which remains to be seen). So I'll say to you what I've said to Pie. Troll harder.

If you think that avatar is a fatass you've never seen a healthy women before. Some of them look like that. She has no body fat to speak of just large hips. Troll harder Pie.

  12. Wiggy Bingyi wrote: Looks like a precursor to LL selling the platform to me. Gaging the current state of SL, that would make sense. This is EXACTLY what I was thinking. They either want the rights to recoop losses when they shut down SL or so they can sell literally EVERYTHING to the highest bidder. Well if someone else does take on SL (I hope) then perhaps they'll do a better job with it (I hope).
  13. IMHO it's worth the effort to learnt he new interface used in v2/v3 as it really is in the long run more sensible (well okay except for the new chat interface...what's that called chui? It's terrible). People love V1 style because they don't want to spend the time to learn something new but I feel it really is just inneffeicient and illogical. Though I do believe that Singularity isn't a true V1 but infact a V2 using the V1 gui? I could be wrong here though. As to the people getting all offended at the suggestion singularity is less stable. I thinkt he person just got it from LL's wiki. There not a user of singularity and so they can only go by stats given. So if you don't like it perhaps write to LL? (not they ever listen. lolz)
  14. UHhh where is the debate? I merely explained what you were saying in a way a "experienced" user could understand. No debate there.
  15. He's asking if a female shape built to look male could wear mesh clothing built for a male shape.
  16. honestly the reason the hair is partially solid is because there is an issue with alpha sorting. If all of thestrands were alpha'ed flexis it would clash in a weird way and would flicker (best way I can describe it). To get around this they put solid bits in the hair. If you want hair that doesn't go through you I would try mesh. There are some hair places that do flexi/mesh hair.
  17. I'm glad people agree with me here. I've been seeing a scary number of people pop up on the forums wishing to give real world medical advice. I wonder how often they really think this through?
  18. Maybe find a group that interests you and ask them? I know there at least was a book club that meet like once a week on the weekend they may stll be around.
  19. I've said this before and i'll say it again. I STRONGLY feel this sort of thing is dangerous at best. Even with a medical background because you do not know the person you are giving advice to or there medical and psychological background you are unable to give proper advice to them. That said there is also the fact that if something goes wrong you WILL be held legally accountable. I STRONGLY recommend thinking long and hard about weither you are willing to accept legal responsibility on the account of psychological services rendered in a game. Do as you wish but don't say anyone didn't warn you if something goes bad because I think we have.
  20. Sassy Romano wrote: Chosen Few wrote: That said, I hope you don't expect to be able to use clothing from MD direclty in SL. As with most cloth simulators, the geometry that MD generates is not at all optimized for use in a realtime environment. It's super high poly, and the tesselation is awkward at best. Just to add that size of the polygons can be controlled to make it much less super high poly. Also of interest to note is that there are opportunities to be realised by making clothing that is appealing to SL residents and for some, that means using the quickest tool for the purpose. Take this example:- Creator A) Uses Marvelous Designer, creates items that are high in detail, well textured and look good. High poly, non optimised but regardless sell very very well. Creator B) Spends weeks making an item, optimises it to the end of the earth, lower poly but appropriate. Deliberately chooses lower poly and uses a normal map to fake higher detail. Customer uses viewer without advanced lighting enabled, perceives the item from Creator B as lower detail, flat textures and doesn't buy anything else from them as a result. They buy many things from Creator A, perceiving them as "high detail/quality". If the object is to be commercially aware and generate an income, ask yourself who is the mug here? If the object is to make highly optimised game ready content and not care about commercials then the answer is different. While this may be true I don't think it should be encouraged more then it is. Lets be honest a lot of lag is caused by lack of knowledge about polys, texture size, and script size. Not that I will claim to be completly innocent as a consumer in this area mind you.
  21. I've gotten quite a number of....akward IMs. Hanging out at sex related sims or nude beaches will cause this especially if your in latex. Ignore it. Even if you tell them up front no they will still keep going...even send you akward pictures. yeaaaahhhh
  22. I'm surprised no one has meantioned MAAI here. There dress are amazing. I mean seriousally there formal gowns are AWESOME and every so often they do a 1L for 30 lucky buyers. You have to beat people off with a stick to get in though.
  23. Under world>environment editor>Environment settings. Uncheck always use parcel/region settings. click custimize my environment this will set the sun however you want. Since you want the sun in a fixed spot choose fixed sky and either choose a setting you like.
  24. I would suggest anyone who goes to this take witha grain of salt. Since there's no way to be assured their background (though I'm not calling them a liar PER say they could be being honest here). I really worry about these things if people make suggestions that could signifigantly alter someones life or involve medication. Basically here (and even with real doctors sometimes) if it's life changing get a second opinion and question everything. Still I can see how this may helpful for some to talk about there problems even if the help offered isn't anything substantial from it..
  25. I've been working on my avie since the time I joined. I only recently made my avie more bbw. So you never really stop custimizing it. I went from this :noob me To this:me now But not over night. More like over 4 years. I change my look almost everday. So I wouldn't worry about how long you take to custimize your avatar. You'll never be done but that's part of the fun:)
