Since the introduction of the new naming system, new users are unable to access the blogs, which means they can't access the Second Life Answers user to user help system to get help with using and enjoying their new Second Life account..
There is a report about this problem at http://status.secondlifegrid.net/2010/11/18/post1161/
There is a jira issue about this problem at https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-3308
It would be really nice to get a comment from a Linden Lab employee on the state of progress on this issue.

Some new naming system accounts are being confused with old naming system accounts, making it impossible for users with this problem to access their old account's account information for such things as updating billing information, changing passwords, reviewing their account history, age verification, partnering, going premium, or canceling their account.
There is a jira issue about this problem at https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-3331 , " After logging in to secondlife.com as Sharcel Bellic, I am taken to ChuckBaggett's dashboard ".
These are important functions. Not being able to access your account information is a non-trivial problem for those so affected. Votes and watches on this issue, WEB-3331 , would be appreciated by those with affected accounts.

The first comment is formatted wrong; the text doesn't wrap, it sticks off the right side. Does anyone else see this problem?

When?

I just tried to create a new account, and the new account creation page still has you pick a first name without being able to see the last names, and presumably then picking a last name - I'm not sure, because I stopped at that point.
Is the name creation process going to change to where you can create an account with the name of your choice, and that's what people will see in-world and in the blog-forums?

I'd like the sidebar to stop covering the bottom bar; here's the jira issue:
VWR-24087 As a user, the bottom bar should remain the same size, never being altered by the sidebar.
