    Hi Many Thanks for replying but sadly that does not answer my query ;)

    I wrote putting LMs in a notecard was  EASY :)

    BUT ..... HOW do you add to a notecard clickable LINKS TO GROUPS

    I want to create a note card that lists clickable LMs (EASY to do) to the 14 music hangouts (nearly all are open stage/decks, 6 to 8 have regular weekly events) on my community region.

    But how do you add to a notecard clickable LINKS TO GROUPS we have 6 groups which i would like to list too

     

    Is the a simple Guide to setting 2 different Sky EEPs at different Altitudes on my parcel

    I have full landrights

    I can see the are 4  altitudes listed in EEP but I have no idea how to apply different EEPS  to the different altitudes in my parcel.

    My ground is as mix of seaside/garden/ tropical , up at 3500K steampunk reggae club in space

    Is the a very simple Guide to setting  2  different Sky  EEPs at different Altitudes on my parcel

    e.g. Ground  x  EEP  & at 300K meters z EEP

    LOL no all is well ... i received the answer I was half expecting, quickly and then got deservedly entertained by many fun replies :) No one expects the SL inquisition to jump on their typhonese. Though I admit, I am totally mystified, befuddled and honestly always a bit unsettled by sub/dom references, me just don't understand it (I admit to being terminally innocent). Yep the aint harf a lot of good natured crazy folk in sl land. Continue to have fun.

    Is the way to retrieve im and chat history in case you need them as a defence?

    Is the a way to retrieve old chat and im messages going back a month, beyond that which is the viewer chat logs and on my computer. 
I have no intention of sharing with 3rd parties,or breaking the TOS, except maybe Linden Labs if that is allowed.
A couple of recent friends are accusing me of stuff I would never do, and spreading untruths about me, I have no idea what they might do next.
I might sadly need to defend myself.

    Does SL run better the higher the Mbps, or is it that over a certain figure the is no real differenc

    I am in an absolute confused pickle regards internet speed, how much i need for a good second life experience.

    My graphics card is not good, but I can not change it. I do have a SSD, but not sure if or how that helps.

    I am in an absolute confused pickle regards internet speed, how much i need for a good second life experience. For the last five years I have had an ok connection but it was often very laggy at some of my favourite places. Maybe I had 24mbps but I am not sure how fast it was in reality, because it was ADSL and I do not live close to the exchange etc.


    Then another company put cable down my street last month and I plumped for it. I don’t get the 200mbps speed they promised me because I find out my computer can’t take it, but I do get between 72-90mbps.


    But this New cable company have messed me around massively, failing to give me a phone line, charging me for installation and phone services they were not providing and charging me 50% more because they failed to add the phone thus breaking their bundle package and then via several phone calls crediting my account in confusingly ways. And I can’t reduce my bill because of the fact the speed I am getting is half of that promised.


    Is  a speed like 80mbps useful for second life, does fast down load it make any difference?
    I am half way through cancelling old company who are now offering 32mbps but thats ADSL again.

    My Camera sticks: i try to pan up, dwn, L or R: but it sticks in one direction Bottom-L or R

    Hi I would be very grateful for a fix of ongoing repetitive issue I have. I have asked before on firestorm inworld help but never got the proper solution.
    [1] My camera sticks. i may want to pan up or right or left, or move it L-R/Up-Down. But every now and again it sticks usually bottom -left or right. I end up spiralling and looking up at the soles of my feet.

    [2]I have tried escape-shift. escape, control-9, putting rear camera focus back to default (it is already) NO EFFECT.

    [3] Removing all clothes and attachments, test for female, phoenix emergencies avatars...this has happened for a long time...and many different outfits. NO DIFFERENCE
    [4]Clearing cache and application support does not fix it. FAILS
    [5] Complete clean removal and reinstall sometimes (not this time) for a few days.
    [6] My main viewer is Firestorm, but it occurs on all viewers i have tried from Viewer 2 to Exodus
    ( I can not remember when it started, but I am sure it has occurred on many viewers for me)
    [7] I have so many personal settings in preferences...its so frustrating setting the up each time.

    Any ideas?

    Mostly by way of the on-screen pop up

    I use my arrow keys to move myself

    My mouse ( a Razer Cyborg) ... to scroll

    A to Qs asked on the firestorm jira I posted

     I do regularly change the font size on my browser (via zoom), I can not remember if I have ever done it globally.

    I do have tinkertool...but again sorry can not remember if I have ever used to increase font size ...but have reset it to the default (did not notice change)

    My mouse is a Razer Cyborg ...really comfy.
    As advised DisableMouseWarp -> now set to TRUE.

    Did a clean super clean reinstall with an all round computer clean and maintenance this morning...currently camera behaving ...the time to it goes wrong (if the above changes dont work) varies bt minutes and weeks)

    It does seem to happen when I a moving things about on my parcel ( maybe it sense maximum annoyance time lol)(part of a friends sim...she does not suffer my issue)
    It seems to have happened with all my various avatar configurations.

    This time I have not played with the various camera options in preferences..like disable camera constraints (I think I always had before)

    hi

    My camera is stuck again.

    I was inworld moving things about, I think resizing a dome at the time, my computer froze up (that is not typically connected to my camera sticking). I left my computer for a couple of hours. Came back rebooted computer, relaunched firestorm - camera stuck.

    Other programs running inc both firefox and chrome.

    what happened to the gesture pop up/scroll menu that used be on the bottom bar.

    the gesture play/edit box is ugly in comparison. §(it includes deactivated gestures which i dont want to see / and apart from name, the extra chat and key columns)

    (yes i do sometimes use gestures in clubs)

     

    Edit: Which viewer? a very good and basic point I should have made clear. I am on Firestorm 4, but its the same with Exodus and the Linden Beta Viewer 3.3. I am on a Mac.

    I just liked the simple one column pop up...it would be almost ok if i could drag the new gesture window just to see one coloumn

     Edit2: yes got hang of the FUI ...really love its adaptability (i liked the side bar before lolol...so i am easily pleased)

    lost rezzed items from sim

    Hi

    Sorting out my dance animations and huds on my friends homestead sim 

    I rezzed two huds...henmations and vista. The vista had all my hundred odd mocap dances in it.

    I crashed

    When I relogged i rezzed in a place I was last night not my last location. (But the Vista dance hud i had been wearing <before taking it off this morning> that night was not on me)

    When i returned to the spot i was working, both my huds had disappeared.

    A search with an Advance object Scanner failed to find them.

    I have also rezzed myself in an empty sim, just in case they somehow appeared in my inventory.

    Any Suggestions
