I have bitten the bullet at last and am trying to get my stuff out of my Magic Box onto Adit. * I copied the Magic Box contents into my inventory, then * I dragged it to Merchant Outbox (V3). Folders are made BUT only some seem to contain contents. * When I "send to MP" the items show up BUT they are still associated with my magic box. They do not show as "Direct Delivery" so there's no point associating them with my listings. * I tried to sender fewer items at a time with the same result. Is there a fault? It's very frustrating, especially as I have a large number of items to transfer. Help appreciated!

The other day I uploaded a 10 second .wav sound. I set it as "looped" then dragged it into the contents of an item I was building. It turned out to be very annoying, so i deleted it from the contents tab of the item but the sound kept playing. This is not unusual so I was not concerned but eventually I deleted the item I had made, because the sound was driving me crazy! BUT ... the sound still plays. It gets louder when I zoom my cam close to my avi so it seems that it has somehow "stuck" to or inside me. It keeps playing when I change sims and I was asked to leave a club because it was making people angry. To fix this I have tried: changing outfits changing my skin and shapechanging hairstripped nakkie twicechecking to see if i am wearing any attachments I was not aware of, but there are none showing in "worn" used 2 different viewers and I cleaned cache for each. Can anyone help me get rid of the sound please - I am desperate! Carmsie

Thanks for this suggestion. I have checked and am wearing no attachments ... I stripped right down to just my skin and shape (took off everything including hair) ... checked in "worn" and had nothing attached ... then I changed my skin and shape as well .. STILL the sound persists! *whimper*

Drama over! I did all of what was suggested by both of you ... well most ... not sure what made things work .. but i now have my MP shop up and running again AND a copy of my magic box in another place. i feel a lot safer. Thanks for your help!

My merchant page shows all, my MP store is only displaying 33% of my stuff. I'll try moving my magic box to my sl home and see if that helps. Thanks for the idea!

Anyone else having this problem? Seems Marketplace is only listing about 1/2 of my items.

thank you for the link and i am very grateful for the answer to my problem. i was unsure where i should ask the question, so i posted it twice...my bad, it seems. fathoming sl and how/where to get assistance can be confusing sometimes. was a sarcastic reply designed to make me feel foolish really necessary? a polite and friendly explanation would have worked too, you know.

Hi there, I own a Homestead sim that is 'set' to my group (not deeded). I want to enable DJs and live singers to run events on the sim. I will not always be logged in to help so I need them to be able to: Change the music stream, andRez a tip jar I am confused about how to make this work and cant find the answer in SL's Wiki. I gather I need to have the right land settings and and group member role permissions in place. So here are my key questions ... Land questions What land settings do I need to configure, if any? Do I need to deed the land to the group? If i deed the land, does this mean my group members "own" the land? If so, can they sell it? (deeding scares me a bit!) Is there anything else about the land I need to make sure is set up? Group questions I have created a special group member role for DJs and have set permissions for these people to change the stream and rez items. However, when a DJ wears this group tag, these permissions do not work. What am I missing or doing wrong? Hope you can help! Thanks, Carmsie

Anyone aware of a problem in Marketplace????? Over half of my 100 items are currently unlisted and are showing as "unavailable" in my Merchant's Manage Inventory thingy. I have reset my magic box ... all looked fine .. colours changed and I waited until it went back to normal but STILL my stuff is showing as unavailable. Help! Help!

Sorry i have been quiet for a while but i was waiting for my SL account to be credited with the equivalent of US$7.5 mill ... so happy the Togo offer was NOT a hoax!!!
