I learned over at Second Life Pic of the Day that today is National Dress Up Your Pet Day. Bruiser has such severe FOMO that I had to post this,. Even though I keep telling him Christmas is over, he won't give up his Santa hat and carrier bag (from TuTy). I can't wait to see your dressed-up lovies!

Here's mine! In the 2010 pic, I'm in front of Austin Hall at Harvard Law School on Berkman Island, where I discovered Second Life in an extension course called CyberOne. Since Austin Hall is no longer in SL, I took my 2020 shot in front of the University of Western Australia in SL. And that's BruiserToo I'm holding in both the pics!

The “What Second Life Means to Me” Video Share Project
Bay Sweetwater replied to Xiola Linden's topic in Your Avatar
Late to the party, but better late than never! And now with Sansar in alpha and Bright Canopy launching in a few days, it seemed a good time to say why Second Life is so valuable to me. Big hug, Bay. -
My holiday machinima, for when relatives ask you what you do in SL, you shrug and say, "Oh, I dunno. Stuff like this."

You can play around in Second Life on the iPad by accessing it remotely from your computer, via an app called Splashtop. There is both a Mac and Android version. And the best thing is, the touch interface actually works inworld! See my YouTube vid, where my avie walks, sits, tps, flies, chats, dances, changes clothes, snaps pix, hugs and kisses - all with swipes and taps on the iPad screen. For how-to, see my blog post http://baysweetwater.com/second-life-on-the-ipad/

You can play Second Life on the Ipad by remotely accessing your computer running Second Life. And the best thing is, the touch interface works inworld! Here's my video where my avatar in Second Life runs, walks, flies, dances, chats, changes clothes, hugs, and kisses - all using taps and swipes on the Ipad4. http://baysweetwater.com/second-life-on-the-ipad/ -
Second Life Pic of the Day 03/15/2013

Only you could get shadows in a downpour. Beautiful. -
Sadly, you are one of many with this problem, including myself. Firestorm and Linden have effectively disabled shadows for SL on more than half of the current Mac laptops. Here's why. Please make noise with Firestorm and Linden developers. If enough of us do, they'll fix it. http://baysweetwater.com/2013/03/03/no-shadows-second-life-2012-macbooks/

Support the Japan Earthquake & Pacific Tsunami Relief with Linden Dollars
Bay Sweetwater commented on Kim Linden's blog entry in Featured News
@Kim: would LL consider issuing a smaller-sized wearable bear? The current one is wonderful, but much too big to actually wear to meetings, dances, etc. Thanks! -
Thank you, Hitomi. I never knew about that "add" choice. It works!!! I'm a happy camper again.

Why was multiple attachments disabled on 2.4? It was a great feature.
