  1. 'Elements' is the broadest, most encompassing theme of all themes in SLXB history. Especially in the mathematical field of Set Theory, elements can be anything, even nothing. In that sense, a ball of mud is an element, your underpants are an element, the teapot in the glove compartment of Elon Musk's Tesla Roadster, currently in an elliptical orbit around the sun, crossing paths with the orbits of Earth and Mars, is an element. Your mom is an element. The entire universe is an element and a non-existent fantasy universe imagined by the brain of a certain mr. Bolzman is an element. Even SL21B, in itself a set of different elements, is an element.

TL;DR: I guess, for SL21B, anything goes. [Edit] So... hell yeah, even adult s*xy time stuff!

I decided to make my Second Life a tad bit easier. I disabled incoming IMs from "non-friends" for some of my accounts.

Maybe you simply use too many acounts? Maybe it'll be a tad easier to just use fewer of them, rather than go through all of them to disable functionality in each and every one of them?

Personally, my poor little brain can barely handly a single account.

The red cross and red crescent emblems are protected symbols under international humanitarian law and national laws. Any use that is not expressly authorized by the Geneva Conventions and their Additional Protocols constitutes a misuse of the emblem. Use of these emblems by unauthorized persons is strictly forbidden. Please contact the ICRC for more information.

How about me typing a large red plus sign? Can I do that? Surely I can...

  4. Objects (especially HUDs, body parts, clothing and other attachments) with scripts that will reset every time you rez them and list an initializing report to the owner, who has absolutely no clue what it all means, does not benefit from this knowledge whatsoever, but, instead, gives them a vague suspicion that their product is 'calling home'.

Is PIOF essentially a form of "Age Verification"?

I think it's more of a 'serious SL account'  versus 'anonymous troll acount'  verification thing.

Btw, age verification is a complete joke, to keep a bunch of not so tech savvy lawmaker dinosaurs happy.

Well the issue is that avatar height does not scale up to real life.

    How do you figure?

    1 meter is 1 meter.

People in SL can be taller than in SL, because: status, power, strength. This drove most avatars in SL to evolve as taller beings than they are IRL. As a consequence, houses are bigger in SL, furniture is bugger, Land Impacts are higher. All because some people want to be bigger than others. All in all, I would say, 1 meter IRL corresponds to 1.25 m in SL.

  7. Boomers always double-click on hyperlinks.

[Edit] Double clicks can not be distinguished from single clicks by scripted objects in SL, if the click interval is less than 0.1 seconds. This is, in my personal opinion, way too long. An object should be able to distinguish double clicks that are 0.05 seconds apart, or less. It's an SL shortcoming, so I won't design anything in SL that requires a double click.
