Just posting to update this thread that the "black plague" is still a problem with the latest viewer. A faculty member using Second Life is having this problem and trying to walk them through the cache clearing process is NOT pleasant. I hope someone at LL is investigating why this problem keeps occurring.

I'm sure it goes without saying, but this is a disasterously bad policy change with far too short notice. For all the grant funded edu and non-profit projects, two months is a very short time to deal with this. Are you trying to hasten the exodus to OpenSim?

This is excellent news indeed and I applaud the Lab for allowing these great projects to continue!

Probably a good decision, I never found any use for Avatars United, it was just one more place I had to update and try to keep up with and I mostly did neither.
