I'm not sure it is such a stretch--for it to be such a big reveal, I'm guessing they're going to do something that isn't "typical," and as you noted, there's a lot of people into that whole concept.

I did ask them about ISP issues when setting up the new modem -- they said there were no known issues. I appreciate your help though -- a system restore seemed to solve the issue. Fingers crossed that it stays fixed. Thanks so much for your response, Ellla.

Yesterday morning, I was unable to log into Second Life. After rebooting and several other things that were recommended, I was finally able to log in, although I couldn't access voice. It was fine yesterday. This morning, I attempted to log in - once again, I'm getting error messages. Depending on which viewer I'm using, it either says "Something unexpected has gone wrong" or "DNS cannot resolve host name." I have rebooted multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled the software, cleared the Second Life cache as well as the DNS cache and even purchased a new modem out of fear that my old one might have been fried. Does anyone have any recommendations that might solve this issue? Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
