nice post Nalates, packed full of good information, i will take a closer look at those the next time i see this kind of problem. With the newest viewer the problem seems to have gone away. Within the last 24 hours mesh has been showing up on my viewer. i had actually gone to the mesh sims to see whitch server version they were on, turned out they were on the same one i was. Well we knew it would have growing pains didnt we? :matte-motes-grin: For now im going to concider this problem laid to rest with the newest veiwers, long as it works im a happy camper...er builder. ok, i dont know whats happening here, i just logged in this morning, and i could see mesh in a private region, someone logged into the sim, crashed me, relogged and cannot see mesh again........ cleared cache, relogged, cannot see mesh again. seems kinda transient cleared cache and relogged again, mesh is back, what the heck????? ok my head is spinning, and i dont know whitch way is up at this point i can only think this viewer is still unstable Second Life 3.0.1 (238388) Aug 12 2011 12:20:23 (Second Life Development)

ooo thanks Daniel, i did your suggestion, helps with loading inventory, its useable much sooner now, along with the friends list, names pop up now where they didnt before. Still dosent help with meshes. i must be doing something wrong..............

thanks for the response Stang, and im totally unsure of what the problem is. But dont you know ive already spent a conciderable ammount of time deleting various sl viewers off my computer and reinstalling almost every variation of mesh viewer i could find, some more than once. This has been going on since they opened mesh to sl. support? 'shudders'............ /me knows shes lost now Guess ill just have to be happy with 64meter prims, which is very nice btw.

cannot see mesh at all ok ive tried the normal grid, and the beta grid. ive tried three different normal mesh viewers up to 237585, both the dev mesh viewers 238307 and 238332. All have seperated cache locations. ive got a mesh sim, ive tried the beta grid, and the main grids mesh sandboxes, all to no avail. im useing a intel duel core processer, 4gb sys ram, gtx-260 video card. passed the test and got payment info on file i noticed in the log file lltexturefetchworker do work HTTP failed for.... status 499 connection timeout (hundereds of these) ive tried everything i can think of and i still cannot see any meshes help please

after reading all the forums, i am still unable to find anyone with my problem, to which i could ascertain what my problem is. first ive tried almost all the mesh viewers, most 2.8.4 variants plus two 3.0.1 viewers. my problem... 1-cannot see meshes, at all, any 2-from login to login i sometimes see the model upload in the upload window but its not there usually i am.... enabeled in my dashboard, passed the test, got payment info ive tried all the suggestions i could find here in the forums, nothing seems to work im using a duelcore with 4gbram, and gtx260 video, windows xp anyone with any reasonable suggestions?, would be most apprecieated

im confused, was that a linden?, in sl? noooooo, i dont believe it. everytime i go down the list of lindens in search, all i find is "no i cant help you go to http://secondlife.support" witch cant help or support. (if it says anything at all in their profile, many are blanker than a clean piece of unlined paper) finding a linden to ask a question of has been downright impossible inworld for lets see now, 2 years? i once attended a conference with two lindens that unfortunately lost their jobs the very next month. the last lindens i saw in sl. well anyway, welcome to our world Rodvic Linden/Humbel, may good times finally come our way at last. juli
